Happy traveler If I was to travel to Lebanon again, I'd stay at this motel again. It was Clean - reasonable rate - small fee for my dog - easy to get to off highway and close to any event I might want to attend. I felt comfortable- appreciated refridgerator. I was a happy traveler.

Gross When we checked in, went to the room, it was older and dark. It smelled of old smoke they never got rid of. There were patched walls and hair left in the coener of the floor in the bathroom. Did not seem to be cleaned. There were dead bugs in the sheets. We left.

Depends on your needs/standards Very much depends on what you need/your standards. It was safe, inexpensive compared to others in the area and the had a last minute opening-so it served our purposes, but definitely not a place I’d likely stay more than one short night. The pictures are not from this location. Pro: price, they had a room when others were booked as this was a last minute stop during a road trip. Felt safe and several food choices nearby. Mini “donettes” at the breakfast, which I adore… Con: not very clean (a clearly unwashed pillow case and overall results of long term limited housekeeping…and I am not a neat freak), very humid in the room until we turned on the AC as I’m guessing no air is kept on between guests (which I get as a cost saver) but leading to what appeared like mold on baseboards of bathroom. Bathroom door would not close and successful toilet flushing with multiple attempts was intermittent. My love for donettes aside, breakfast was a pretty limited assortment of all carbs except one lonely banana (no yogurt, hard boiled eggs or other basic fruit, etc. you typically see) and we were there early so I doubt others took it all already. Definitely depends on your needs…we were on the second floor (no elevators, which was fine with us, just fyi) so perhaps the first floor is more used/better cared for.

Nice for a budget type hotel, but bring your own Pillows Upon arrival late at night in a rain storm we were pleasantly surprised to have a well lit overhang at entrance. Exterior was nice and well lit. Ashley was very welcoming. Tips: make sure switches at front door are on to charge devices in some outlets; make sure all lights are working. Overall our expectations were met. My opinion: at the end of the day, this is a budget type hotel that is trying to revamp itself to provide better service to guests. Sorry, not time for photos. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Friendly front counter staff (Ashley) - Recently renovated rooms along with windows and drapes - Recently renovated exterior - Computer for customer use near front desk. - Breakfast available, but very minimal (cereal, milk, OJ, coffee, muffins, etc.) - Good location for food and gas nearby - Very quiet, except for engine noise from trucks (no biggie, I grew up in Chicago) - Safety was not a concern for us...we felt safe. - Fridge and microwave in room (unusual for budget hotel). Cons: - Old used bed with very worn and flat pillows (bring your own pillows) - Confusing array of light switches - Bathroom light did not work - Doors were old and deadbolt did not engage - Open boxes of flooring cluttered parts of the hallway Suggestion to hotel management: replace the pillows, mattress, and doors ASAP.

I've stayed in worse This was the only hotel under $200 when we wanted to reach eclipse totality last month. We braced ourselves for the worst, after reading the reviews after purchasing. When we arrived and saw no hotel sign up and plastic covering the windows on one half of the hotel, I thought our fears had been confirmed. Nothing special, however, I've stayed in worse and there was even a breakfast and "moon pies" out in Eclipse day. I think they're just under renovations. You can hear hallway noise easily in the room. But I always wear earplugs. Not worth $200, for sure, but we knew what we were getting into, traveling for the eclipse.
