Not bad for an older building. Plenty of room for our family and No Extra Charge for more than 4 like other hotels I don't understand the low reviews. The area felt safe and the room was prepped for our stay. They set the thermostat, made sure we had enough towels (this never happens! I always have to ask), and had the lights on for us. Yes, it seems to be an older hotel because Residence Inns have been around forever. There were some scratches and marks in a few places on the walls but I don't ecoect perfection. My only real complaint is the pet odor. It is clearly a pet friendly hotel but after a couple of hours I didn't notice. They could easily fix this issue by replacing the old carpet with laminate flooring. The beds were comfortable and kitchen area was clean, well stocked, and tidy. Bathrooms were spacious with good water pressure. Just know that hot water is limited and the water heater has to refill and reheat just like a home water heater. We didn't have a chance to check out the sports area and we didn't use the television. Breakfast was ok. There was a variety and a card indicating that if there were gluten free needs to let them know.

Missing Smoke detector, Dirty throughout We visited with another family, getting 2 two-bedroom suites. While the staff was very nice, the accommodations were extremely disappointing. - We had to ask for the pool to be cleaned. - The carpet in one of the rooms smelled like urine, with a plugin air freshener to mask the order. - There was no smoke detector in the room. - The primary bathroom clearly had water damage as the wood on the cabinet was badly warped and mold on the tile. We contacted Marriott Corp. to report the safety concern. They basically said they didn't believe we had an issues - EVEN with sharing photos - because the hotel management denied there were any issues. I find it incredibly hard to believe there is no record of their maintenance crew removing the smoke detector.

Visiting Horse park 2 queen beds with a full kitchen AC worked great and room was clean and comfortable. Checkin went smooth and our room was ready when we arrive. This room is on the 2nd floor with no elevator so it does make unloading a little harder. Close to the main road and you do pick up a little road noise Biggest minus was the smoking area was right below our steps. Breakfast was average and the space a bit cramped

Not the usual Residence Inn Totally unprepared for this hotel - not the usual Residence Inn. Condo like hotel - 10 different buildings. Our room was on the second floor and there are no elevators! Bathrooms were small. No housekeeping during our stay. Hotel staff a little green.

Enjoyable Stay This was our second favorite Marriot on our road trip. I like how they had the bedroom sectioned away from the living room and sofa bed. The check-in was simple and easy. The night manager was a helpful young lady. It was an enjoyable stay.
