Don’t stay, unless you absolutely have too I rarely give bad reviews, place was dirty, no fitted sheets, queen sheet on a king bed. I was worried about safety. Looked like kit is being used as a temporary housing for homeless, which is fine except for a holiday trip for a Route 66 vacation.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst hotel ever. Had to change rooms 3 times due to broken and dirty rooms. Final room had broken detector, moldy bathroom ceiling, damaged wood, broken lampshades and electrical outlets that didn’t work. Horrible smell middle of night.

Owner will not clean up his renters! CANCELED stay when we saw the condition and the people that are living there PERMANENTLY! RUDE renters this motel has! Renters seem to be under the influence of something and the OWNER would NOT do anything about their behavior!! NOT a safe place to stay at!

Just save yourself money Very disappointed. The place smelled awful, even with multiple incense burning all over. Roaches running when you turned on the lights, this place reminded me more of a halfway house then a motel. Didn't even have the smoke alarm plugged in, hair stuck in the drain on the shower. Had a total of 2 towel for a hot tub and shower room. No fitted sheets on the bed. No comforter on the bed. Doesn't look like the room had really been cleaned correctly for a long time. Had to deal with someone walking the hallway with their kitty litter box. People coming in and leaving constantly more like drug deals instead of staying. No breakfast as advertised, no coffee at all, what good is a motel that doesn't even have coffee? This is nothing as advertised and not even close to the pictures.

Beyond belief - in a bad way. I want to preface this review by saying I am a minimalist and rarely do a negative review. After this unfortunate stay, I feel compelled to let others know about this hotel so they don’t suffer through a miserable stay at this place like I did. I have stayed in lots of hotels, but never none as rundown as this one. Ironically, this hotel used to be passable 2-3 years ago and in fact I had previously stayed in it probably 5 times in past visits to Lincoln. However, in the past couple of years, they lost their Best Western affiliation (not surprisingly) after a change in ownership. This place is off the rails. It is not an exaggeration to say the room was in bad shape. There was only a sheet and blanket on the bed - no bedspread or comforter. Upon walking in, the stench of cigarette smoke was overwhelming (it is allegedly a non-smoking hotel). I asked to be switched and the other room they showed me smelled just as bad. They had the thinnest “bar” of soap I’ve ever seen - which had gotten crushed in the package and was in 10-15 shattered pieces when I took it out of its wrapper - completely unusable. I asked for more soap wafers and they all were crushed! In the 3 days I was there, there literally was never anyone at the front desk. The front desk had a COVID plexiglass shield across it which had numerous signs and instructions on various protocols. One sign instructed guests to call a number if the front desk was not staffed. I did that and the employee dutifully came down from 1 of the 2nd floor rooms. The dingy “white” shower curtain had lots of black mold on it. There must have been a leak behind the toilet as they put up a piece of wallpaper or vinyl fabric behind it that didn’t match the rest of the wallpaper. Complete patchwork. The door handle on the door going into the shower/toilet room was dangling off the door and completely non-functional. The baseboard in the bathroom had been removed and never replaced. The carpet was deeply stained. The soles of my shoes - which I only took off as I got into the bed, stuck to the carpet as well as the tile floor in the bathroom. The glass toiletry shelf by the bathroom sink was pulling out of the wall - making it useless to out anything on. Similarly, I noticed the grab bar near the shower was also pulling out of the wall. The pillows and bedding had a very musty odor. It was so bad that to be able to sleep, I had to put a bath towel over the pillow so it didn’t smell quite so badly. Two electrical outlets had been removed from the wall receptacles leaving uncovered holes in the wall. Metal electrical conduit was then run in the outside of the wall along the floor to a new outlet that was suspended on the conduit outside of the wall. The hotel still clinger to COVID as to why they couldn’t serve coffee or breakfast, why their pool remained closed, and why they had no housekeeping service. Clearly cost cutting measures for a hotel not long for this world. Finally, the 1st night when I grabbed a washcloth, half of it was white and the other half was gray. Although I think it had been laundered, it clearly had been used as a cleaning rag and stained. Now I know why when I checked in about 11 pm, there were only 6 cars in the entire parking lot. Hopefully by the time you read this, the hotel will either have been condemned or shutdown by the authorities (health department, building inspector, etc.).
