Lovely service I visited on a birthday weekend with my friend. We enjoyed our food and loved our service. Ash was so kind and occasionally checked with us to see if we were all right. Will definitely return. Highly recommended

Staff that go the extra mile I stay at The Old Thorns on a regular basis for work and always find it to be a great experience.
Leah on the reception desk is great, she recognises me when I enter and is sorting my room and key by the time I get to the reception desk.
Kiera in the Sportsman's Bar is also exceptional. As well as being a super barperson, she is attentive and given I have stayed here regularly she recognises me and my colleagues and when we walk into the bar, she instantly knows what our drink is and is ready to start pouting by the time we reach the bar.

Great family meal We are frequent visitors on special occasions, often brining the whole family along. We visited on Sunday the 15th of june for fathersday. We hada group of 25 and went for a lovely carvery. The young server Rebecca was excellent and didn't hesita5e to grab us coffee and anything else we needed. The manager of the restaurant Laura was excellent to always smiling polite and very friendly. We then decided to visit the cafe Oties where they serve fantastic deserts for a reasonable price. The team there were amazing Claire and chris made our drinks splendidly and the two ladies made our deserts to a very good level thank you Lisa and Mara. All I all We have neve4 had a bad experience there and will look forward to coming again.

Well done Claudia We spent a girlie weekend here and after our spa we ate in the sports bar and had the best service from a young lady called Claudia” she is a credit to your company so helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble

Weekend getaway A beautiful hotel on beautiful grounds with lovely staff. The food was fantastic and the restaurant was lovely and spacious. We were served by Michael who was wonderful, attentive and friendly. He was courteous and kind throughout our meal and was the same in the morning at breakfast. He’s a real credit to the team!
