Comfort Inn & Suites near Six Flags

Fit the bill for the purpose Conveniently located off interstate period decent size room. I had one queen bed that came with a couch and table and good size desk area. very clean. one of the light bulbs in one of the bedside lights was out but I was able to work around it. I will note that the either ceilings/floors are very thin or the people above me were walking very heavily as I could hear steps and walking above me and several occasions during my stay. Fortunately it was not enough to keep me awake or otherwise interfere with my use and enjoyment of the room. Very good lemon infused water in the lobby. Friendly and helpful front desk staff and ample parking. Breakfast was average, nothing exceptional but an adequate start. Overall it is a good bargain for the location and relative convenience as there are many fast food restaurants, a Walmart, and other amenities all within five miles. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.

Great Staff, average property The customer service is great. Susie at the front desk was awesome! I called the day of my arrival and spoke to her on the phone. She remembered my name when I arrived that night and held brief conversations with me throughout my week long stay. The other staff seemed nice, but Susie’s personality shined. The manager was also very nice and accommodating. I asked to change rooms on day 2 because of traffic noise from I-20 and was able to look at the new room (on the other side of the hotel) prior to acceptance. I decided to stay in my original room because the new one had an odd smell. I also saw some hotel guests from the window outside the new room shooting dice. There was ample free parking. The hallway had an old smell but it was tolerable. The free breakfast was good. There was a pool and exercise room but I did not get a chance to use either of them. There was a mini fridge and microwave which came in handy. The bed slept nicely. The other room furnishings need updating, but the tv was vey good. There was no toilet paper holder and the hair dryer would not stay on long enough to dry my hair. The doors on the rooms needed a paint refresh. I was happy that there was no carpeting in our room. The flooring looked relatively new. Overall, this was an average hotel.
