Great Stay Few problems but the Manger took good care of me. Great Staff. I will stay here again in the future when I come. I know they just changed the Staff for the better and I wish them the best and will come back soon.

Too Many Ants & Terrible Smell First, we had ants in our room. I noticed that they were on the desk and then one was crawling up my foot. I called the front desk and informed them we'd be leaving the room shortly and they assured me that as soon as maintenance arrived they'd have them come to the room and spray. The next day we had even more ants all over the desk. No telling how many were on the carpet. Then, when we'd get off the elevator on the third floor there was a skunk smell. It dissipated the closer we got to our room but it was always there. This hotel is very outdated. Not sure that we'd stay here again. The lady on the front desk was very nice at check in.

Really shady hotel management Our time there (we didn't even stay the night) was the worst experience that we've ever been through with a hotel. The management will lie about everything if you try to get a refund (including your check out time). First, there was a loud party and BBQ going on throughout the night. We decided to wait until 11 pm local time to see if anything would change. After 11 pm the noise was the same (if not worse), so we decided to call the front desk. They said there was nothing that they could do because there was a conference going on and we would have to wait until the following day to talk to a manager. At this point we knew that we wouldn't be getting sleep and decided to drive back home. We checked out just after midnight (around 12:16 am) and contacted the 3rd party (Expedia) later that week for a refund. The time that the hotel says we checked out is at 12:51 pm and that is their entire argument against allowing Expedia to give us a refund. At first they even denied that we stayed there at all when Expedia contacted them! Every single manager at this place should be fired.

You Expect More from the Courtyard First of all, let me say that there are a lot of good things going for this hotel. Such as: 1. Location—right in the center of everything that you will need, 2. Price—I booked thru Priceline and got if for almost 40% off the standard price. Secondly, when you stay at the Courtyard you expect above average and this facility did not meet the standard. If it had been a hotel of lesser branding, I might not have been so hard in my critique. So here are the negatives: 1. When I arrived there was trash all over the parking lot and around the hotel entrance where I was instruct to enter; 2. After my initial entrance, the door from the parking lot did not function so I had to push my luggage cart all the way around to the front of the build; 3. When I entered the room I found that the soap dispensers in the showers had been pulled off of the wall (this was fixed the next morning); 4. The should curtain did not hang down to even the top of the tub, so when you took a shower the water dripped down onto the floor on the floor outside of the bathtub; 5. The bathtub drain did not drain. By the time you finished with a quick shower the soapy water was up to your ankles. MARRIOTT….SHAME ON YOU!!!! Maybe it is time for employee evaluations—from the top down. I would recommend that you send in some “ghost customers” to make your own assessment.

Brothel and bugs My family stayed on a Friday night with points. In the parking lot there was a prostitute hanging around. She later entered the hotel. Well it seemed apparent that she was keeping shop in the room across the hall for men were going in and out all night until past 4am. There was no point in telling the front desk. I figured they know better than anybody what happens in their hotel. My family got no sleep. The next morning my wife has bug bites on her. I called Marriott HQ and filed a formal complaint. For some reason they won’t give me my points back. They could because of the hooker, but when I reported bug bites it was off. My Marriott days may be coming to an end.
