Exceptional Stay I had a truly wonderful experience during our stay! The location is absolutely perfect - central, convenient and surrounded by everything you could possibly need. I must give special recognition to Selim Atias, the Guest Relations Manager. Selim went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and memorable. He is a true asset to the hotel and one of the main reasons we would absolutely return. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality in a prime location!

There are better hotels in the area The only thing to recommend the hotel is the location. It was probably once a 5 star hotel but it’s no longer the case. The room was dark and the noise from the lifts ever present. There was an absence of hospitality, aside from the door man was friendly and helpful. Only two of the lifts worked and there was always a permanent queue. Hotel employees stand around in the foyer, blocking the entrance, I think they were concierge, they didn’t welcome anyone and stood about talking to each other. Housekeeping was woeful. The previous guests red socks were still in a drawer when we arrived which is where they remained, despite letting reception know. The room was not always serviced, and if it was, it wasn’t always consistent or thorough. The amenities were not always replaced and on one occasion the beds were not made, half the rubbish was left in the room, clean towels were not replaced, and the room was not cleaned. When making a complaint about the poor quality and standard we were offered a glass of wine as compensation, which had to be had at the time (the middle of the day), or later that day. It had to be convenient to the hotel, not us. We suggested a cocktail instead of wine which the hotel refused. The poor quality of housekeeping was evident throughout the hotel. The same scraps of paper left on the carpet in the corridor were present throughout our 7 night stay. The bathrooms on the floor beneath reception were often in disarray. On one occasion each cubicle was strewn with toilet paper and empty cans. It was a costly and disappointing experience. The hotel is to be avoided.

Quintessential British Delight The Dilly has delivered quintessential British hospitality at its finest…the comfy bed and pillows helped rid me of the dreaded jet lag. Breakfast was superb….and the cheeky breakfast pornstar martinis made and served to me by the amazing Nayan put a spring in my step. Best martini I’ve had in London. I love the Dilly!

A fabulous few days of rest and relaxation. Made to feel ‘special’ by the staff - not just more guests! Wonderful reception staff - including Hussein who was helpful and friendly. Having been told the reason for our visit, we received a wonderful welcome package including gifts and a personal inspirational message from Salim Atias, Senior Guest Relations Manager. Thank you so much to everyone.
