Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Longmont by IHG

Good hotel. Maintenance are thieves though. Hotel is decent and clean. Do Not leave any valuables in your room if you step out. Maintenance staff are thieves and steal if they work in your room when you are out. I learned the hard way. Lost my cell phone power pack. They need to screen their employees better!

Be Aware: I found the Holiday Express in Longmont CO. To have some short comings. The Shower valve never worked properly. The telephone in the handicap room was inoperable during our stay. Making it difficult to receive any wake-up calls. If you stay there in the summertime, be sure to bring a can of wasp spray, the grounds outside of the hotel is swarming with wasp. Make hard to even get in & out of your car. The breakfast was well represented, and the front desk staff was very courteous.

A very nice stay Amazing hotel - really friendly and helpful staff who made check-in smooth. Hotel is in a great location and had lots of food options and supermarkets near. Would recommend Chicken Post. Breakfast was good and the gym had everything you need. Clean rooms and nice amenities provided, a very quiet area too. The pool was amazing - it had a water slide that was very good and great fun for kids

Worst IHG property I’ve ever stayed at Where do I start with this hotel? How about check in. When we arrived, there was no front desk clerk to be seen, only a sign that said “back soon.” We called and search around, but no staff anywhere to be seen. Along with the other guests in line to check in, we waited 20-25 minutes before the front desk clerk showed up with a piece of pizza in his hand, given to him by a guest upstairs where he had apparently been hanging out. He admitted this. He then told us our reserved room had been given away, so he downgraded us and then said we’d get a “discount” - which was simply the price difference for the downgrade. They had no rollaway beds or cots available, so we had to deal with only one bed in the room. No apology or alternative option given. No exaggerating - the pool capacity said 19 and there were approximately 40 people in there. Thats a conservative estimate. No functioning lights in the slide area, towels overflowing from the disposal area, and no staff to be seen the entire night. My son got a metal sliver in his foot from the pool bottom. Kiddie pool was out of order. Workout room was out of order. Mens bathroom was out of order. I grew up in the hotel industry, and have even worked at a holiday inn - this was easily the worst run property I have stayed at. Like others have stated, stay away from this hotel.

Nightmare Stay at Holiday Inn Made reservation as IHG member in app and called day before to confirm and confirm billing card information as card had changed. When got to hotel, without contacting me the reservation was cancelled. Arrived late and night clerk did find a room and provided him drivers license and credit card for room reservation. The next day we decided to cancel next 3 nights reservations and left room as normal before checkout. Received call from hotel general manager accusing us of theft of room and said was reporting us to police. She also denied I called the day before my reservation to confirm reservation and credit card information (although I sent her a screen shot of my phone call showing time, date, phone number and duration of call showing I called the hotel). I am a long-time IHG member of 12 years. I am Platinum Elite status. I have stayed at IHG hotel literally hundreds of times in and outside of the United States (used to travel for work and stayed at IHG). This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had at an IHG and pretty much at ANY hotel. Manager even refused to credit me for night I stayed after threatening me with a police report and I did not receive points for the night that her hotel misplaced my information, cancelled my room, and threatened to report me as a dead beat guest. If there are ANY OTHER places to stay I encourage anyone to go there and if this was the only choice available in Longmont, I would either stay in my car or a tent rather than stay here. ABSOLUTELY NO professional etiquette, no willingness to admit any mistakes made, it is all on the customer even when the customer can prove otherwise. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!!
