Good No Frills Hotel in Koreatown - With a Few Limitations The hotel was good overall given the location to the Metro Purple Line and the nearby supermarkets (Ralphs and H-Mart) and restaurants. A McDonald's is located next door, and the hotel does have its own cafe/bar open during the afternoons and evenings. Hotel is monitored by security guard at the front entrance, with access controlled late night/early morning. Note that the front desk may not be manned during early morning (2 am to 9 am during my visit). Stayed in a one king bed standard room. Room was fine and clean overall. However, there is no microwave in the room. The bathroom only had a towel shelf and not a towel rack (the shower in the 1 King Bed had a shower curtain rather than the plastic sliding panel and towel rack that may exist in other rooms). Shower head in the bathroom was a removable shower head. Overall, it's hard to beat the location. I would consider staying here again, as it was a safe place to stay in Koreatown.

I think we were the only ones staying here.... We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Wiltern Theater. The bed was not comfortable, but we were so tired from the drive, we zonked off for a little mid-afternoon nap before we left for some adventurous driving through LA. On our return we find that the restaurant, that says opened 11am to 11pm was closed. It was 6pm. I asked an employee where he recommended for dinner and he steered us to a Korean restaurant, or McDonalds. We went elsewhere. Next morning we ventured down to have breakfast and the place was closed. I asked if they were going to open. Grumpy lady said "no" with no further explanation or recommendation. There is a sitting area that was closed we assume was for the second Korean restaurant on site that appeared to be abandoned. No food. We went to McDonalds. The shower has a sign that states that if you do any water damage, they will charge us $200. The bathroom door was already damaged with dry rot. We took a picture of the door and the shower. We did NOT take a shower for fear they would blame us. We were checking into another hotel the next day, so we took showers there. When we got there, we didn't know where to park. We parked on the first level and was told that was not for guests. There were only two other cars. The valet window was closed. We went down a floor and parked. There were no other cars. I think the upstairs was for the two employees that were there, and we were the only guests which could explain why the restaurants were closed. The only positive thing I could say about this place is that we received free parking because we booked through their website. I think because there was no one to man the valet. This was just bizarre and a bit spooky.

Don’t stay here! I don’t recommend this hotel. Overall it was poorly lit and gloomy both in the common areas and in the room. My room had one large window entirely blocked by a brick wall situated only a few inches away from the glass. My room had no source of ventilation for fresh air into the room, no decorations at all, damaged furniture, and an uncomfortable bed with two flat pillows. The underground parking garage that is so tiny that I could not avoid scratching my back bumper while leaving, despite my best efforts. The garage also was very poorly lit and had a deserted feel which made me uneasy. Considering the hefty price for a one-night stay, I would give this hotel less than one out of five stars. I advise booking any other hotel in the same area if it is within the same price range.

Above what I expected I was greeted by a friendly clerk to get my room. Parking is a little tight for a SUV but it's on location. I walked in our room and it was very clean and the AC works very well. Room is a little small but it is nice though. Bathroom is very well kept and tidy. Beds are comfortable and clean.
