Does the job well We loved this hotel with a lot of charm and character and a feel of a boutique experience instead of big and bustling. We booked a Junior Suite and it was huge honestly, especially given the price it was very very large and we had lots of space for suitcases, unpacking, and stuff. Very clean hotel, covid is taken with a serious note, highly recommended. We had meals at the Front Yard and wow also!

Worst place ever with horrible staffs DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL if you need extra towel or any basic services you expect from regular hotel. We, group of 4, stayed 1 night and asked for 3-4 more towels since hotel provides 2. The male front desk agent sighed and laughed at me when I called because he claimed that I asked for too many. First of all, that is NOT customer service. Secondly, what kind of hotel ask a customer to come to lobby and pick up 2 towels? I did not expect any services from this hotel but you do not want to spend a single penny even if you have low expectations. If he explained to me nicely that housekeeping has left early and ran out of towels to begin with, I would totally understand the situation. Do not assume or decide what customers need and train your staffs how to treat customers professionally with some manners.

Good location to experience Korea Town. 2N stay. Hotel is old but well maintained. We arrived at night, staff there was friendly and check in was easy. They were able to communicate well in English. Room was clean and bed was also comfortable. Nice view from room, only complaint was the heater which was quite noisy when turned on. Walking distance to many Korean eateries and amenities.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! DO NOT BOOK OR STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! If I could give this place -0 stars I would! Customer Service was HORRENDOUS, specifically Jenni at the front desk. My daughter was supposed to stay at this hotel during her birthday weekend in LA. There were homeless people laying all around and she feared for her safety. Jenni wouldn't do anything to help her. She wouldn't allow her to check in early and would not approve a refund even after the booking company called to request a refund numerous times. I too called numerous times and she would pick up the phone and hang it up every time. I've never witnessed such terrible customer service in my life, not to mention the hotel was a complete dump! If you care about your life and don't want to waste your money, stay somewhere else!!

Do not recommend. Very rude and unprofessional staff. Never go here. Very disappointing. Extremely rude staff. The security checking us in asked us to give my driving license and credit card to him. He said he will keep it with him until the next day when the front desk staff come in. We were not comfortable. I dont even know if it is legal to ask for your credit card and driving license. We refused to give it in the beginning and asked to speak to the manager. The security called the manager. He came on the phone. He called himself Peter. He talked really rude to us when we asked him for the reason behind keeping our cards. Since it was already after 11:00pm we decided to give the card to the security and asked for the security's name. The Peter guy told the security in their local language not to share his name and he told us that they cannot give the security's name and also refused to give us the room since we did not agree to their policy in the first place and asked him a lot of questions. He put the phone down rudely even after us telling him that we had a small kid and it was too late in the night to look for another hotel. I never could imagine how someone could be so cruel and inhuman. After calling multiple hotels at 12:00am in the night we finally found a space at Marriott which is just two streets down. The staff there were so nice and the hotel was much better for the same price. I have never had this experience anywhere. The staff at JJ Grand hardly speak English except for Peter . Please don't go here. There are much better hotels for the same or even lesser price.
