Excellent stay The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay. We had a little issue with the toilet but it was taken care immediately.

Next Time We Stay in a Coleman Tent Stay elsewhere. Here’s why: we arrived and no one was at the front desk. Waited fifteen minutes for anyone to show up. Even called. Finally someone came up to check in. The gym is out of order but sorry for the inconvenience. And the rooms smelled. All this for $200 a night in Lubbock, Texas. This was not worth the effort or money.

Unsafe/Broken Down Will never stay at this property again. Checked in on a Thursday night (late) and was told that the wifi was not working and would be fixed by the morning. 3 days later, and it still wasn't working. Called the front desk and was told we works get 10% off of our room. Next morning, went to turn on the tv, and it too was not working. Found the cable broken off the back (see pics). Called the front desk and they promised it would be fixed later that day. 2 days later, still not fixed and called the desk only to be told "They were working on it" SMH. Again, told we would receive and ADDITIONAL 10% off. On the last night of our stay, we were about to go up to our 3rd floor room, and learned the only elevator was broken (see pic). Finally, upon check out, We never did receive the 20% off for the room as "They would have to have the manager approve that and the mgr is not here right now". Lesson learned. No more LaQuinta North Lubbock. KICKER: Canned response to follow from mgr as it's the same response to every other negative review.

Cleaning I could find several hairballs in the bathroom and bathtub. You could feel something strange in the bed that itched. The pool area was full of mosquitoes that I could only stay there for 3 minutes and I came out covered in several bites. Breakfast was until 9:00 am and at 8:30 there was no egg, no sausage. no hot chocolate for those people like me who don't drink coffee.

Go North! I totally recommend La Quinta north for your stay in Lubbock. Everyone is so professional and very accommodating. The staff go out of their way to make sure you’re happy and if your needs are met This is my second trip to Lubbock this year and I will always stay at La Quinta north in Lubbock.
