Average hotel This Courtyard is below the standards one expects from a Marriott brand. The main problem is the construction around the hotel related to the new light rail and road work, as well as the proximity to I-5. Parking is limited, the area surrounding the hotel is unappealing. The room we stayed in was clean, but the hallways could benefit from more attention especially with the pets allowed in some rooms. Finally, charging for the coffee at the Bistro in the morning while advertising it as free 24 hours on the hotel website is disappointing.

Stay Away I booked because of the phenomenal price they were offering online. However walking in you can tell this was a tired old hotel with make-up....has a musty smell to it but I did not think too much about it. Went to room and immediately checked the bed.....dark dingy sheets. I went to sleep but I could not as I-5 is next to you room.....I heard trucks all night long. I woke up very early as I received no sleep and hit the road. Nothing special and very noisy. Pay a few dollars extra and stay elsewhere!

Fun Stay We stayed this hotel for two days with my youngest hockey team mates and families during family day holiday in mid Feb. There were many people from a couple of other hockey teams and a volleyball team in the hotel. It was very clean and staffs were very friendly and nice. My son and his team mates had great time at the indoor pool and hot tub and gym. The bed was clean and hard so it was very comfortable to sleep. The room was clean. The breakfast was ok. There were toasts, bagles, oatmeal, cereals, and eggs and sausages with coffee and tea. I wasn't expecting anything fancy like all inclusive buffet so it was ok. The location was great for the hockey arenas and restaurants and stores.

Breakfast was awful We stayed here about a year ago and it was great. This time around it was not nearly as nice. The breakfast selection was awful, oatmeal without any toppings other than a bowl of stale brown sugar. No fresh fruit offerings other than a few apples. No muffins or yogurt or waffles. And there was trash on the floor in the room and the bathroom was not very clean. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly just like last time around.
