Good for a quick bussiness trip I spent a week in the hotel on a company trip to Macae. The hotel is clean but looks dated. When I got to my floor, the outside window frames were rusty. The receptionist was very nice, courteous and very helpful. I wanted to repair a pair trousers and she got the info to get it done. The rooms are not big, but I got one with a window to the ocean, although it was not a balcony. The morning breakfast was included int the rate, and it was decent, nothing great, but ok. The best part of the hotel is the beach in front. Great views and there are many restaurants at 10 min walking distance. There is a small pool at the rooftop, beautiful view, but I did not have time to enjoy it.

Great location an staff Staff is great and polite. Great location. Accommodation is very comfortable and affordable. The only downside is the parking lot. It is small and you can block other cars, which forces you to leave your car keys with the hotel staff.

Good hotel while visiting Macae This is a decent hotel and is adequate during trips to Macae. It has a great location on the beach and is not too far from the all of the oil companies. It is an average hotel and about par for the Mercure brand. The rooms are small, but I was really pleased overall. The bed was comfortable. The shower was very hot with good pressure. The AC worked well and had easy controls. The mini bar and fridge were well stocked. The TV had a variety of channels and some were international. The restaurant is limited, but the food was decent. The breakfast was fine and had a lot to choose from. The best thing about the hotel is the breachfront location for an afternoon walk after work. I did not have issues with the wifi.

Good cost / benefit option! Close to the beach, god rooms, that's definitely a kind of place you'd deserve for a good rest, regardless of looking for business or just leisure. The only issue is that it is not so close to the bars and restaurants, but definitely you'll get there in some minutes (walking distance).

Not bad for Macaé I have stayed here many times and am generally quite satisfied. I like the location - right on the beach but a little removed from the noise in Cavaleiros. It is about a 20 minute walk along the orla to the main restaurant area, and if you don't want to walk that far there are some very good ones on the way. The breakfast at the hotel is good. Some floors have renovated rooms and other have older rooms, which means the you may be pleased or disappointed by the room depending where you they put you. There is a rooftop pool which is quite nice, although like just about everyone I go to Macaé to work and don't get the chance to appreciate the pool. There is also a roof-top gym, but the some of the equipment has been broken for months (note to hotel - fix the seat on the stationary bike!!). The hotel is expensive during the week as is everything in Macaé, but you can't blame them. Compared to other hotels in Macaé I suppose it is a good value.
