Fancy location We had a wonderful experience and stay. The staff is attentive , helpful and most of all plaisant. Fancy neighborhood with all the trendy and chic boutiques. Unfortunately the room assigned to us was at first a disappointment. Only one window facing a wall. No day light and dark. The next day they switched room and we were very relieved and happy that our complaint was heard. Good breakfast, diversified and well served. I will come back for sure.

Unparalleled Service! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Unico, they tear us like family and welcomed my family and friends like if they were also staying at the hotel. The service is excellent, the location unbeatable, the rooms well equipped and nice size. Sure sure a must go back type of place.

Dinner experience Had an awesome birthday dinner at Ramon's restaurant. Worth every cent paid and we paid good money here _ This is a two Michelin stars restaurant and it really lives up to the expectations and even exceeded them without making extra effort.

Great location Great location. Very good service. Feels a bit like a luxury flat rather than a hotel. Good fitness but no spa. We enjoyed the quiet and tidy room. Quick room service. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was well done. Large bathrooms

Nice but not great! Located in Madrid's upmarket Salamanca district, the hotel is on a nice relatively quiet street with plenty of shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walking distance. The hotel itself is quite pleasant although I'd rate it more as a four star rather than a five star, and hence found it also too pricey. The staff is generally ok but one of the reasons I'd not rate this hotel as a five star. I found they lacked the attentiveness, and cordial receptiveness of other hotels of this calibre (except one of the doormen who was always very welcoming, friendly and perceptive) The breakfast is served in a lovely room/conservatory and the selection was great - yet again not the best service. There is also a quaint bar, and library room to chill. I am not sure whether there is a restaurant though as we didn't come across one and no one pointed it out to us. (And this is a rather small hotel) The room was generally clean - yet not spotless. The rooms were a decent size, with a very decent sized bathroom. Wasn't too keen on the toiletries though. I must emphasize I am being a bit overly critical as this is a 5 star and given the price we paid - which automatically leads you to expect the highest of standards.
