Good value great stay Great Location, Comfortable beds, and a wonderful staff make this hotel a great value. Our suite was two rooms with kitchen. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast needs some work. Eggs were rubbery and no waffle iron. Otherwise an excellent choice.

Great staff for old hotel that needs renovations with a weird homeless lady I stayed at Homewood Suites on Monday night for work, and while the hotel itself is definitely rundown and in need of some serious updates, the front desk agent, Cameron, made a big difference in my experience. He was incredibly helpful and sweet — he gave me great restaurant recommendations nearby (I ended up trying Chickie’s across the street, and it was really good!) and was very attentive when I had a concern. After checking in, I had an uncomfortable encounter with an older woman who seemed to follow me toward my room. She told me she lives at the hotel, knows all the staff and their schedules, and started sharing stories when I mentioned Cameron had been helpful. I didn’t feel comfortable with her knowing where I was staying, so I went back to the front desk and asked to be moved. Cameron didn’t hesitate and got me into a different room right away to make sure I felt safe and less inconvenienced. While it’s a bit concerning that there seem to be long-term or potentially homeless residents at the property, and the building clearly needs renovations, the staff did their best to provide good service. Just make sure to stay alert and lock your door to stay away from the homeless people living there.

The worst, dirtiest, smelliest room I’ve ever been subjected to !!!! The worst hotel experience EVER!!! Do not book here! The rooms are filthy, not dirty they’re filthy! Even the furniture was filthy. I had to get sheets to cover the couch because it looked disgusting. The shower didn’t really work water barely came out the spout. Our room smelled like cigarettes and butt. The disposal was broken and added a rotten smell to the room. There were cobwebs and dust in every cover even on the lights that hang over the table. Paint chipped and actual poop on the walls. Toilet flushed very weirdly and the whole staff will lie to your face about helping you. The breakfast was just sad. Everything looked like it had been expired and smelled weird. Had to throw away. Just don’t waste your money or time. And the GM Paulette Moore is horrible at her job along with the other managers. Never followed through to rectify the issue only lied and avoided me. My sister in law stayed a floor below me and had similar issues and her water didn’t work in the room. Like just pitiful! Then Cameron just apologizes and says we’re going to be redoing the rooms soon. Not fixing my issues. Just horrible !!!!

Average hotel Not sure how people rated this Very good. Room was fine as a suite. Very hard to open the door...TVs are out dated old LG's...channel selection is not great...cant even get a Phillies game? Breakfeast was scrambled eggs and small hash browns and Taquitas...very below average....Gym AC was not working...a week long customer requestede a fan that was brought in....a water bottle was sitting on the floor, so the water machine had no water for a few days...the Anti bacterial wipes were empty...the TVs on the machines did not work...overall was not impressed.

Unhelpful Front Desk I've stayed at this hotel many times. It's affordable, beds are fine. Feels a bit old with some damaged furniture. But my most recent stay really made me mad. i was checking in late. I had a digital key that did not open the side door, so I went to the front door. Walked past a man sitting outside smoking and watching a football game on his phone. I went inside and stood at the front desk. No one in sight. No bell to ring or instructions on how to find someone if the desk is not staffed. Several minutes later, the guy who had been outside comes in. Turns out he works the front desk. So he knew I entered the hotel with my baggage, but chose to sit outside to continue to smoke and watch football while I waited. Really bad customer service.
