Great place to stay near Yosemite. I stayed in the kitchen/family suite with family. It was spacious, clean, and quiet. The suite had two separate bedrooms, full kitchen with dishes, cookware, and silverware, and a sizable living/dining room area. Included with our stay was free breakfast each day, which was a nice bonus. We were surprised by the variety of food available. Parking was complimentary. Location was very close to downtown Mariposa shops and restaurants. In fact, we didn’t need to drive downtown because it was easily walkable. We took the YARTS bus system from Mariposa into Yosemite, which meant following that schedule, but it was convenient and allowed us to see the scenery without having to drive. Although this is not a super fancy hotel, it had everything we needed and more. It felt like an Airbnb without the added cleaning fees. We were very satisfied with this hotel and would stay here again.

Not the worst… Mariposa is a cute little town, about 30 minutes from Yosemite. We ended up here after searching for reasonably priced accommodations with breakfast before driving to the park. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. However, the hotel just doesn’t feel clean. The room smelled like gym socks, there was trash littering the breezeways (including a feminine product for all 3 days of our stay), and a bug trap on the counter in the breakfast area. Stay here if it’s your only choice, but bring Febreeze, and enjoy one of the cute breakfast spots in town.

Horrible the bed was so soft I had to sleep on the floor. There were no blackout curtains, and I would expect that for the amount I paid. Worst of all, I left the hotel with a tick on my back and now I have to pay $100 to get it tested to see what bacteria it was carrying. I know the options near Yosemite are limited, but this is taking advantage.

Okay for visiting Yosemite Adequate but short staffed, I think. We arrived too early for check-in on a very hot day. The guy at the front desk was quite rude when we asked if there was a chance of early check-in. Later a pleasant lady got us in early. The staff were nice with that one exception. Breakfast was okay. The room was a bit dated but clean. There are stairs, no elevators.

Needs a deep clean There aren’t many choices so we just stayed. Toilet seat had skid mark on the seat so if you don’t carry your own Lysol (like I do) be advised. It was quiet but there isn’t an elevator so make sure you can climb stairs. The bathroom could not be smaller. Very old furniture.
