A Very Good Customer Service Experience This hotel would be decent, except that the service of Felicity, the employee at the front desk, made it excellent. Her happy demeanor made her a pleasure to work with. When I ran out of a sundry and called to buy one, she said that she had a free sample available. Felicity embodies what true customer service is about. If she isn't the Manager of this hotel, she should be! Kudos.

nice place to stay Not a lot of plugs and little bottles of shampoo etc. No where nearby to eat so be prepared to drive. Front desk was friendly and helpful--and she had hot cookies! Fridge and microwave in room. Fitness center was small but had weights. Beds were good.

Front desk not helpful We stayed for 1 night, the coffeemaker in the room did not work, I got dressed at 6 am to go get coffee, when I told Trina she said you should have called we would have sent a new one. There was only 1 person at the hotel at 6 am, I doubt that would happen, but that way she could brush me off. The I make toast in the breakfast area and the toaster only toasts one side of the bread. Avoid this place.

The Name Should be Changed to "DisComfort Inn" This is our 4th or 5th time here, in connection with the annual International Pinot Noir Celebration. The place has gone downhill more than a skier on a Whistler Mtn. Black Star run. From start to finish this has been a calamity. On making reservations (a year ago!), we specifically asked for a large room, preferably on the first floor, near the elevator. On arriving we were met by what looked to be a 12-year old clerk, who told us our room had a Jacuzzi tub and was at the far, far (far) end of the hallway on the second floor. Thanks, but no thanks. I need to be close to the elevator. OK! We were assigned a room half-way down the hall, one of the smallest in the place. The young clerk, by the way, appeared to be the owner’s 12-year old great-granddaughter. OK! So we just now returned to our mini-room from the day’s IPNC activities (around 3:30 p.m.). The room’s untouched — the bed’s unmade, the damp towels where we left them, the…you get the idea. So…”Please have housekeeping clean the room.” “No!”, said the owner’s great-grand-daughter. “Unless you ask, your room is only cleaned every three days.” Unless you ask! You’re kidding! Your never told us! Every three days? Sort of like a State homeless encampment or a junior college dorm? Don’t even think of this joint! Paper cups in the bathroom. Old, surplus Soviet army T.P. Inedible “breakfast” gruel. Incompetent front desk. Clean room every three days. Who could ask for anything more? Don’t even think of this joint!

Management less impressive We stayed in four Comfort Inns on our Oregon trip. We will be staying in more in the future as we were impressed with the appearance, comfort, and cleanliness. They all seemed new, with all the conveniences such as many electrical outlets and charging stations. The beds and high quality sheets were very comfortable. This had the same quality. But the management seemed less caring. The gardens around the motel were full of weeds. Most Comfort Inns were taking COVID precautions and had a breakfast bag. Here the precautions were less apparent. What breakfast that was available was in the breakfast room where customers were milling about, at least one without a mask. It did appear that many people were eating next door in the café instead. MdMinnville is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our visit, spending little time in the room. It was comfortable, but we were less impressed with the management. We doubted extra sanitizing was done in the room.
