Great Hotel with Great Staff I stayed here with my one year old son on 7/17. The staff I encountered were all incredible and offered help all along the way. Mindia was great as were the other people in the evening reception and morning breakfast area. The hotel is very clean and the room set up is great with a full fridge and freezer with a range and microwave. Ozzie and I had a great time staying here for his first concert at the Britt Festival. We will definitely be back when visiting Southern Oregon!

Comfortable stay in great location, good for travelers. I give this stay 4 stars on account of the location, close to the highway, plenty of complimentary parking onsite and ample restaurants and supermarkets given the suite had a kitchen for preparing your own meals if you wished. The one bedroom suites are big and comfortable and provide nice separate spaces. Areas of improvement, breakfast options did not have much variety, pretty much the same everyday, as well as the manager's Wednesday special, pretty plain, soup or basic salad although there was free beer and wine.

General Manager being agressive and calling paying customers names The genreal manager Jodi is very rude and called me names after I tried filing a complaint about my room being dirty. I recently spoke with a corporate manager about my situation and about this horrible stay and he said "it is their loss" "they are the ones that will lose money on you not staying with them on a regular basis" He also told me that I am not the only one to file a complaint about their rude behavior and unsatisfactory and dirty hotel conditons. He said their has been numerous complaints regarding the way some of the staff has rudely treated the paying customers. He said maybe some day corporate will actually doing something about it because it is sad to allow them to treat paying customers in such a way. This was my experience: Friday February 23 we told the receptionist at the front desk that the room we had stayed in was dirty. This included a dirty toilet seat, unsanitary bathroom, and a bathroom sink that had debris in it and as a result would not drain. It appeared that urine was on top of the toilet seat as well as underneath the toilet seat. There was also black hair on the seat as well. We noticed this immediately when getting in our room but didn’t want to try and change rooms as it was around 9 pm when we got in our room and we were very tired and we were also told that there was very limited rooms that night. The next morning, after I told the receptionist about the dirty bathroom, she said she was going to go tell the executive cleaning lady and got up and left. The executive cleaning lady came over and told me in a rude short tone that the room I had stayed in "had just been deep cleaned yesterday" but she said she could give me points if I wanted them. I said instead of points, I’d like to file a complaint due to the room being dirty. And the executive cleaning lady walked away and went into the back room, she didn't even explain what she was going to do, she just left. The receptionist then started telling me in a very rude short tone, that the rooms had just been deep cleaned by the team and said that we haven't stayed during construction but that there had been construction going on at the hotel. I responded by saying that the room I stayed in was dirty and I was unsure of how it was just deep cleaned unless maybe the construction workers had used the bathroom because the toilet was dirty, and I explained that I had to sit on a dirty toilet, because it was obvious that my toilet was not clean because the actual seat was a little grimy and sticky and I could feel it on my skin when I sat on the seat. I also explained that the bathroom floor was dirty as well and the shower facet. The shower facet was sticky, it was so sticky that my hand stuck to it when I tried to turn the shower water on. I told the receptionist that it was starting to make me feel like they were insinuating that I was lying because her and the executive cleaning lady kept telling me that the rooms had just been deep cleaned by their team. At this time my husband walked over from the breakfast area, and I filled him in and explained to him that the two women had said the rooms had just been deep cleaned yesterday by their team and that I felt like they were insinuating that I was a liar because every time I mentioned something being dirty I was told that the room was just deep cleaned. At this time the receptionist said in a rude short tone, no one is calling you a liar, she said we have had construction work being done on our hotel and said we haven't stayed during this type of work that has been going on, she also said that the room had just been deep cleaned and if anything it was just construction debris that was in our room. During this time my husband said to the receptionist that we just stayed last weekend as well when construction was going on so we are aware of the ongoing construction. He also mentioned that we stay frequently. (we stay almost every other weekend or at least once a month) At this time the receptionist had become more argumentative and upset and started to contradict her statements, telling us that we were the ones that said that there was construction going on and that is why our rooms were dirty. This was very confusing and did not make sense. It became apparent that we were not going to get anywhere with this lady because she continued to argue with us so I told her that I needed to speak with someone else to file a complaint because I couldn't handle her rude short tone. She got up and went to the back room and came back out with a lady named Kelly. Kelly asked us what was going on. We explained the situation and told her about the dirty room and that we wanted to file a complaint about it. She asked if we had taken any pictures of the room, and we said no but we could get some. As we were explaining to Kelly our concerns regarding the complaint that we wanted to file and the fact that we felt we were being treated poorly by the staff, the receptionist interrupted and started arguing with us again and while in front of other customers. At this point my husband told the receptionist that we no longer wanted to speak with her because she was being rude, and she said she could say the same about us and said she didn’t want to talk with us either. The receptionist then got up and went to the back room. We told Kelly the way she was interacting with us was not appropriate and Kelly said, "she had seen that" and said she agreed that it wasn't okay to treat us that way or to act that way in front of a customer. Kelly apologized and asked how she could help. We told Kelly that we still wanted to file a complaint for the dirty room and that we need needed the names of the receptionist and the executive cleaning lady so that we could document the complaint appropriately. I also told Kelly that we stay at Homewood suites all the time for business and so that it was shocking that we were being treated in such a way. Kelly apologized and said she would be back and then went to the back room. We waited for Kelly to come back to the desk for at least 10 minutes until we decided we would go take pictures of the room. We went upstairs, took pictures came back down. At this point Kelly was at the desk and told us she was just trying to call us to talk with us. We told her we got the pictures and started showing them to her. Kelly told us they were going to go ahead and give us a free room. We told Kelly that we still wanted the names of the individuals who were treating us rudely so that we could file a complaint. Kelly then went back into the back office and made us wait another 10 or more minutes while the receptionist was sitting at the desk. I would like to mention that during this long wait time, while waiting for Kelly to come back out, the receptionist and a maintenance man were having a discussion, and I overheard her speaking badly about us to him. During this long period of time waiting, me and my husband we’re discussing with each other that we were very unhappy with our stay, and we were discussing the fact that we were shocked with the way we kept getting treated badly and we both had agreed that we thought that the morning front desk staff would have treated us a little nicer due to the fact that we stay several times per month at the Homewood Suites. I told my husband that my main concern was that I didn't appreciate getting treated so rudely and being told multiple times immediately after giving details about a dirty room that the room had just been deep cleaned which basically insinuated that I was lying. I would like to mention that my husband and I did not once degrade anyone the entire time that we were trying to file a complaint. At this point the receptionist got up and went to the back room, and my husband and I continued to wait for Kelly to come back out. I'd say we waited a total of 30 plus minutes during this entire time of simply trying to file a complaint. During this time a very nice lady with muffins asked if we would like a muffin as well as one of the receptionist/mangers. The reason I am mentioning this is because right after I was offered a muffin the general manager came flying out of the back room. She was emotionally yelling at us and pointing her finger at our faces telling us out in front of everyone at the hotel that we were offered a free nights hotel stay and that we needed to leave immediately because she said doesn't allow anyone to degrade her staff and that we were kicked out. At this point there was three women, the general manager, Jodi, Kelly, and the other lady/manager that was walking around with the other nice lady asking us if we wanted a muffin seconds before we got screamed at. I told Jodi, the lady that was yelling and pointing her finger at my face that I needed to file a complaint, she said that I could go get her card with her name on it over on the desk and then I could file a complaint. I walked over and grabbed it and she said that she had everything on camera and that I needed to leave immediately because we were kicked out. I flipped the card over and asked if I could get the names of the women that I wanted to file a compliant with and Jodi told me if I didn't leave she would call the cops on me. The problem with this is they made us continue to wait every time we said we wanted to file a complaint and that is wrong of them. I am assuming they kept going to the back room to discuss what to do, and I guess watch us on the said recording that Jodi said she had already watched. I thought this was really odd behavior coming from a General Manager. I would think she should have came and spoke with us right away instead of making us wait over and over again for long periods of time. Also, I would like to mention that we did not degrade anyone, we were only stating facts regarding how the room was dirty and how the staff were treating us. From my personal experience, it appears that if a customer tries to file a complaint at the Homewood suites, the staff takes this personal and makes you wait and then gangs up on you. Again, very odd behavior. One other important detail that I would like to mention is that Jodi was calling me names in a sarcastic tone as she was kicking me and my husband out and not to mention before check out time. She said sarcastically "see ya later beautiful, you have a nice day! okay! and don't come back" I would consider this harassment, which is really odd coming from a general manager. I would have thought she would have been a better role model to her staff.

Great Stay The staff was so helpful and kind. There is free breakfast that is really good. The pool was warm. The rooms are very clean and we love the kitchen. The beds are super comfy and the hid-a-bed is not that bad either. The bathroom was super clean. 5 out of 5 for our stay, I totally recommend staying here.

Homewood Suites Medford gives Homefelt Feeling My wife and I had a long travel drive from the SF Bay Area to Centralia, Washington so we stopped halfway and booked at Homewood Suites by Hilton Medford, WA. We were greeted and felt welcomed the moment we went to check in. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was surprisingly beyond a suite. It had a separate kitchen with full appliances. It's dining, living, study, king bed, vanity and bathroom areas were clean. The breakfast was hot with a balanced course and the coffee exceeded most hotel coffees. We want to ask Homewood Suites to commend their front desk associate, Kelly, for providing excellent customer service which is always KEY and the reason we are Hilton Honors clients. On our way back back from Washington we booked halfway at Homewood Suites Medford and got the same room! If you folks are traveling by Medford, Oregon, please consider booking at Homewood Suites.
