Suburban Studios Melbourne Airport

Believe the hype. It's bad. I don't know what the good reviews are talking about; the bad reviews are dead on. The staff was plenty polite when I checked in, even helpful (long story) but the non-smoking room had clearly been smoked in; someone had sprayed air freshener to cover it up and it only made the pungent odor more noticeable; the furniture is worn; road noise wakes you up at night; the air conditioning blows right onto one of the beds; and as for the beds themselves, despite some cushioning on top, they feel like you're on a wooden plank. The only upside is that my daughter had a better night than I.

Sad. And they made it horrible. To keep taking money when it was already paid. So we was here thru a reservation they had us check out every night we was here and kept charging even though we paid for our night. My grandson’s Mom past and the made excuses why we had to change room the last night was paid so we left our stuff to go make arrangements for funeral come back coz it was paid for. Showed him our check out confirmation. And I still had to pay again to get my stuff they offer NOTHING. NOT EVEN COFFEE in the lobby. Will be staying anywhere but a quality suite by choice. So sad the home office allows this to happen. Then they put someone on the phone that acts like they understand

Not worth half the price. Lots of sketchy people hanging out, no coffee like it states on website, small coffee maker in room, but no coffee. The room was clean, but the bed was hard as a rock. No ice bucket to get ice. Definitely not worth $100/night.

Dated Hotel is in desperate need of a face lift or better still knocked down and rebuilt. Melbourne Airport has spent millions of dollars on a face lift to attract visitors and its not the best start to a Road trip. The room had a terrible musty smell and the walls were paper thin. The bed and bathroom were fine. The lobby was shabby and dated so was not a good start. Left feeling disappointed. My advise look elsewhere.

NIGHTMARE @ SURBUBAN EXTENDED STAY HOTEL MELBOURNE FL 32901 I'd like to start with the arrival of my reservation. I wasn't sure to stay or not. It was rudeness instantly and so dark throughout the hallways' . Mind you it's my sister and I. we get unpacked and as we're going outside there are people sleeping in the hallway in front of the elevator not counting the drug addicts nodding out in the laundry room. We let the staff know. Got outside to take a walk. Boy that wasn't a good choice. Immediately was approached asking if we needed anything? Drugs, money to touch you.. sex and drunks in the freaking parking lot . we walked to the dock where there were people bent over the rails having sex. yikes. Mind you on the way back in you didn't have to use your card the door came wright open. Also let staff know that as well . The answer was yeah it's like that for awhile due to the Mexicans they replied. Mind you this is our 1st day. oh it continues. There was a lady who they evicted she had her 2 daughters one needed food so she could take her medication so my sister bought them pizza. The manager omg he says if your with them I'm going to kick yal out or pay 50 to sit in the lobby. Let them sit in the lobby till there family members got there to rescue them .? What? so he makes them go to parking lot . The baby with issues ends up falling hitting her head. immediately we called the ambulance. They admitted her quickly. The mother and other baby couldn't go with in the ambulance. I let her and her youngest take my vehicle means there was no room in my vehicle due to the family and I and my sister's belongings. It was all about the money to them. We decided to leave on the 2nd day. Ok says the lady @ the desk as long its before 12. We packed and got to the desk before noon. So all is good says the lady after chuckling after we told her why we were leaving. When called about the 300 that was promised to go into account. Nope still waiting and the Mgr is making us pay for a day that we wasn't even there due to the lady and her kids.. Which they didn't even make it to our room. But they let people sleep in the halllways and stairs. This place haunts me. Please pay an extra 20 for the Hilton. If not be safe. and God Bless
