HOTEL RIVA

Great location and staff We had a short taxi ride from our previous hotel so when we arrived mid morning our room was not ready. We stored our bags and made the short walk along the beach into the old town. The location was perfect for us. It is along a quiet stretch of the beach, but still only a few minutes’ walk from the old town where there are many restaurants and attractions. Our room was impeccably clean, spacious, and comfortable; with plenty of light, a well-appointed bath, and a balcony with a sea view. The wi-fi was strong, and there were plenty of outlets for phone and laptop charging. The staff was very helpful. They gave us some good restaurant recommendations and booked a taxi for us for our departure. We would definitely return to this property.

Great views but customer service needs improvement We arrived early via train and they stored our luggage, but when we turned still a little really they said it would absolutely not be possible to check in early, yet or was slow season and very empty. They did not even tell us that we could go upstairs to where there was a rooftop deck and pool! We would have like to sit up there instead of on a park bench. Was a nice facility and clean though, work a beautiful view.

Riva Hotel Menton - A bright hotel with a fantastic view of the sea Riva Art & Spa is a beautiful seaside hotel with spacious balconies that offer a peaceful place to relax while enjoying breathtaking Mediterranean and mountain views. The balconies have comfortable seating, making them the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely morning, sipping coffee and watching the sunrise. Following a recent renovation, the hotel now boasts a stunning appearance. The rooms are modern yet elegant, providing a comfortable stay. Amenities such as TV channels, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning further enhance the guest experience. The bathrooms are impeccably clean and stocked with a good variety of toiletries, adding to the overall comfort. The hotel staff is wonderful—attentive, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed a delicious and varied buffet breakfast. The hotel also features a rooftop spa with an incredible view of the Mediterranean. The spa offers a range of rejuvenating treatments and massages, providing a truly relaxing experience while listening to the sound of the waves and seagulls. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near many excellent restaurants offering a variety of gastronomic delights.

Class By The Seaside. Excellent seaside hotel, most rooms having balconies overlooking the Med. Staff are uber-pleasant and helpful, the buffet breakfast as good, and various, as in any other four-star hotel and the atmosphere exceedingly friendly. It's pleasantly contemporary in style - and I'd tell you about the spa, if we'd ever gone near it. Which we didn't. There's too much to see & do in Menton to waste time lolling about in dressing gowns. One final point: originally, we'd booked for a break over the festive period, then had to cancel due to a family drama. Even though we'd booked on a non-re-imbursable deal (to save money), the hotel agreed to allow us to kick on the booking to March 2024, at no extra cost. That showed class.

View? Tick. Sound of the sea? Tick If you find a sea view and the only sound you can hear is waves lapping on the shore is a good way to relax, then you could/ should stay here. And if you look back inside the hotel, the room was just splendid, comfortable etc. Maybe it lacks something but if it does, we missed it. And all the staff were just lovely.
