Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Resort

oasis near miami beach Love the promixity to public transport – bus and airport bus! Couple of nice restaurants all within walking distance. While it is in on the popular beach area, it is super quite and peaceful. The hotel was clean but being build in the 50’s, it shows a little bit of wear and tear like water dropping from the ac vent in my room which I informed the staffs at checkout. The staffs were helpful but I think they can be more friendly and smile more. Didn’t get to check out the hotel food. The wifi was not superfast and was patchy.

Poor I stayed at this hotel for two days with my family during our vacation in Miami. When I checked in, the front desk staff told me parking was free. Based on that information, I proceeded without concern. Which I appreciated, especially considering the high parking rate typically in Miami. Unfortunately, after checking out, my deposit was never refunded. When I called to ask why, I was told it was kept for parking fees something that was never mentioned while checking in mind you, I was told the parking was free. This is a dishonest practice, and I would not have agreed to any parking charges had I been properly informed from the start. I expected more professionalism from a hotel like this. I hope they correct this moving forward so other guests don’t experience the same thing. If you’re booking this hotel, make sure every detail is clear and get everything in writing.

Great Hotel I had an excellent stay at the Best Western Hotel in Miami Beach. I want to highlight the outstanding work of Verónica , Jasnaid and Scarlett from the housekeeping department — always kind and helpful. Special thanks also to Edgar, the bellman who welcomed me with a smile, and the staff at the pool bar, who were very attentive (though I didn’t catch their names). The room was spotless, the hotel smells amazing, and the overall atmosphere is very pleasant. Plus, it’s located in a beautiful area of Miami Beach. Thank you for a great experience!

Avoid this property!! The smell of mold and mildew was dwarves only by the smell of Weed being smoked in other guest rooms. No Wifi signa availablel in room, if you wanted to use Wifi, you had to be in the pool area. Beds were so uncomfortable I actually considered taking the blanket and trying to sleep on the floor. The Sleeper sofa not even sleep-able, there were metal springs or something poking your back. Homeless out front begging and wondering thru lobby of hotel asking for food and money. Tip automatically added to every transaction so a $5 slushee at the pool became $6.25 every time, with no disclosure of that. Older woman at the front desk unbelievably rude and could care less about customer service, of basic friendliness or politeness for that matter. Half of the elevators were out of service our entire stay. When another guest told the rude front desk woman that the elevators were not working, she shrugged and pointed to the stairs. Other guests who stayed here last year told us that they have let the place go and that it is falling apart. Whomever is managing this property obviously does not care at all. Therr are so, so many wonderful places to stay along this section of Collins Avenue, please do yourself (and your vacation) a favor and avoid this property.

SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, RIP-OFF $40 parking fee, RIP-OFF $18 resort fee TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Rip-off hidden parking charge of $40, rip-off $18 resort fee, no pool towels. Beach lounge chairs are put away at 5:40 p.m.. even though it gets dark at like 8:30 p.m.. and is 95 F. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!!!! I was put on hold once, and after 10 minutes, was disconnected. Happened again minutes later. Manager is RUDE!!!! Filthy people who are NOT guests using the hotel pool. This hotel needs pool bracelets for guests and security to kick outsiders/trespassers out. CONSTRUCTION OF A HOTEL NEXT DOOR!!!! We arrived several hours before the 4 p.m. check-in, hoping for an early room, or at least to park there so we could use the beach. The concierge was not in. The front desk people - poor English!!! We were shocked to find out that there is a TINY parking garage, and they charge $40. No early parking for guests. Outrageous. This is NOT on the main page of their Best Western page- you have to scroll through several pages to find it. They hid the $40 on purpose. Dishonest. Secondly, no early check-in (ok), and we were told to come back at 4 p.m. sharp to check-in and park. So we come back and check-in. They did NOT give us the Platinum Member bag with water, snacks that we were entitled to even though on the shelf behind them. Third- we were charged $18 for a beach/pool towel, as there is a card in the room that warns you NOT to bring your white room towels down there. No towels, no one working at the towel stand by the pool, no beach/pool towels in the lobby. We were also NOT told at check-in at 4:00 p.m., that the beach chair guy starts putting all the beach lounge chairs away at 5:40 p.m.. Had we been told, we would have immediately gone to the beach at 4:10 after bringing out luggage to the room. When we got down to the beach at 5:20 p.m., there was 1 beach lounge chair on the sand, the rest were stacked up and tied down. I'm only giving it 2 stars for the view, and the nice waiter in the hotel restaurant. Another HUGE negative- no included breakfast like most Best Westerns do.
