Charming art deco original We loved our stay in the Crescent hotel. It's one of three Hilton properties in a row on the quiet bit of South Beach so you can sleep at night ! Check in was via the third building Ocean Plaza but the hotel suites are in the Crescent These are original art deco masterpiece buildings and retain the charm of the era with modern amenities included. Our apartment was recently refurbished with a fresh white kitchen stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses, pans, fridge freezer, two ring hob, coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher. Perfect! There's counter seating plus a lounge with huge tv and sofa plus armchair. The bedroom was fresh and clean with a great shower room attached. We had oceanfront with amazing views. The aircon worked wonders during a Miami heatwave! Staff were friendly. There's an ice machine and coffee station in the other buildings. South Beach is on your doorstep for a thousand dining options This is a small art deco hotel so won't suit if you're seeking a big resort but for charm price and location it's exemplary Our only problem was with parking. The road is closed to traffic so you'll have to drag cases a couple of blocks at least. Nearest city parking was 13th and Collins but a roof collapse limited spaces so we never got in. Next city parking was 15th and Washington. Great at $20 pn but a 4 block hot walk with cases. The adjacent Z hotel rear has valet at $49 pn but the valet didn't answer so we had to walk round anyway. We found a good valet on Ocean Drive outside the Tides hotel at 11th st for $45 pn. The hassle of finding parking each night was a slight irritation but hey you're staying in a historic hotel designed for guests arriving by the Flagler railroad so fair enough! We'll certainly return it was charming

Terrible. Construction all day! Do not stay here till construction is complete. Construction that was not relay properly. Nothing on the website. Sign put up in elevator the morning of? Woke up to jackhammers & drills. Front desks says no opportunity to change as I've already checked in. This is not what I expect from Hilton or any property for that matter.

I will never come back Worst place I never been…. First day no hot water, second day no water at all… the employees are not trained, unprofessional and I felt uncomfortable and I did my complains… I have a lot of time share and this cost me a lot of money… and I will never stay here again! If you planing to come here just don’t do it. And this building needs a renovation and be updated… as a Hilton name you could do much better

Horrible customer service front Paloma at the front desk. The room wasn't bad at all. A little dated but very comfortable and quiet. The customer service from PALOMA who checked us in was disrespectful and disgusting. I don't know why she felt the need treat us like we didn't belong or like she didn't want us here. We were waiting for the first room to be available since our flight was changed. PALOMA told us she already had our phone number and she would call us when a room was available. I then asked her to repeat the number to us and she couldn't do it so I gave her our number again. Later, we asked if she had bottled water. PALOMA told us "we don't have water for you" we then told her we were Diamond members and that is one of our benefits. She walked away while talking to us say again "we don't do that here" she never came back so we left to the next door lobby. At this point it was 2pm and I noticed other guests checking in early and getting rooms. I went back to the check hoping for another person but there she was PALOMA rolling her eyes as I walked in. Before I said a word, "No room available" very fast and stern. I replied "OK please call us". At 2:10 Pm we received a call from another staff member letting us know we have a room. PALOMA checked us in and never gave any instructions about amenities, where are room was, check out times. She only asked how many keys do we need. My wife asked her again. What do they have for Dime members checking in? PALOMA walked away from the desk again and came back with a bag with two water bottles. This upset me because we were lied to earlier. I reminded her that she told us they didn't give water bottles to Diamond members. At this point everything was in question for me I asked her what other benefits aren't we getting like room upgrades late checkouts and she said they don't do Diamond member benefits. I was very disappointed at this time we walked out of the check-in lobby, headed to our room with no direction whatsoever, and no information on the hotel. We had to look for our room which was in that different building. When we walked in our room, everything looked fine except there was construction going on right by our room right outside our window. I didn't wanna deal with the check-in or the front desk so we didn't say anything. Then we noticed the TV in the bedroom didn't work, at this point, I was forced to call the front desk and guess who answered, PALOMA. I asked if she can have someone come take a look at the TV and she said she would send someone two hours later. I'm still waiting in the room and I was forced to call the front desk again thank God someone else picked up the phone and took my request as if I never called before, I had somebody at my room within 10 minutes, which was pretty quick compared to two hours. The next morning, housekeeping comes to our room around 10 AM. I explained to them we weren't ready we never knew checkout was at 10 AM. I called to request a late check out to 1030 AM. PALOMA answered I asked can 3106 have a late checkout? PALOMA says "we don't have anymore late checkout" I knew this was the wrong person to reason with, so I just said OK and hung up. My wife reminded me she never mentioned any checkout times or any instruction because she had an attitude with us the whole time. Being a Hilton, Diamond member for so many years and a Hilton vacation club owner. This is one of the most disrespectful experience I've ever had from a Hilton brand. I will be following up with additional complaints because this does not represent Hilton at all.
