Hampton Inn Miami Dadeland

Perfect little stay with a small family. We are Hilton reward members. This is our second time at this Hampton. We live about 4 hours away. We love the location. It’s near a nice shopping area like target, dicks, Michael’s and Ross. There’s a nice mall nearby. And great restaurants to chose from. We were very excited to go to zoo Miami and to go fishing down here in Miami. This place has a good complementary breakfast our kids like to eat at. And the staff has always been kind. They have a nice size pool and hot tub. The kids love hotels and this is on their list of top hotels to stay in, in the Miami area.

Lower your expectations and you will be pleased. I came to the this Hampton Inn due to the proximity to my partners job location. Unfortunately has not been one to be memorable. We have been here almost for a week and they seem to get upset if you request anything. Last thing that is promoting to write this review is that obviously in this limited service hotels HsK is on a schedule or by request. The first day I requested service (we stayed for a week) the only placed the new towels inside the room and took the old ones. No trash was removed. Today we requested service at 11 am. Is 3pm and no service has been provided. When I went to the front desk and stated “ I know you notified Housekeeping but no one has come and has been more than 4 hours since we requested service the gentleman at the desk “Antonio” looked pissed and told me they have until 5 to provide the service. I explained that the reason service was requested was because towels were needed and trash has to be removed” then he spoke in Italian and said “service has been requested… they will be sending someone now… guess what. Is been 30 min and nothing. Hampton has a warranty of service but they don’t live to those standards anymore. Is Sad. We paid until Sunday and we are leaving tomorrow.

Very helpful Front Desk staff I stayed at the Hampton Inn Dadeland for medical appointments at nearby Baptist Hospital. I ended up having to extend my stay to accommodate an unexpected medical procedure. Havana, the young lady working at the Front Desk, was so helpful and compassionate. I had travelled from another country and my cell phone was giving me inadequate service. When the room phone wouldn't work for 800 numbers, Havana let me use her personal cell phone to reschedule my flights. She was great, and a credit to Hilton. Thank you, Havana.

Good Location - Except for.. We love the location, it's centrally located and away from the tourist area. BUT, the bathrooms in our room where not clean and the furniture was full of dust. For being a Hilton chain, I believe this needs to be improved. They have free parking which is a plus in the Miami area. The reception area needs to be consistent with service (we were not offered free water) and we were not ask if we were part of the Hilton Honors program. (other hotels, always ask this when we check in).

Comfortable stay Front desk reception was professional and friendly. Room on 4th floor was very quiet (at the far end), clean, bright and comfortable. Visiting University of Miami and would stay here again. Breakfast had many choices and everything was kept stocked and fresh. The coffee is a bit strong for my taste, but otherwise a comfortable stay and I would recommend.
