Hotel is old...needs to be updated Tub was not draining and the carpet in the halls and room smelled old...hotel needs to be updated...staff was very friendly.

Best hotel in Michigan City If you're staying anywhere else in Michigan City then you're staying at the wrong place. See for yourself. Baymont is the best. Hands down.

Don’t stay here This hotel was dirty and rundown. It was nothing like the pictures on line. We arrived 20 minutes before check in and were told we had to wait in our car until 3pm before we could check in. We didn’t know there was a $100 deposit till after she gave us our credit card back.

Everything on their website is false. NONE of their photos are up to date. It looks absolutely nothing like the pictures. When we checked in, he told us that they were completely booked and charged me $15 extra for checking in one hour early. When we got to the room, it looked liked someone had been living in the room. Disgusting does not even begin to describe the conditions. The beds were made, but when we pulled the cover back, there were unknown stains all over both beds as well as hair and dog hair. The night stand was filthy and had grime and dog hair everywhere. The floors were unswept and were filthy. The bathroom… was something out of a horror film. Tub was full of hair, hair all over the sink, and the floor had grime all over it. Not only was the room gross, the hotel itself was disgusting. We had no choice but to stay overnight, but spent $100 at Meijer buying our own sheets and pillows. When I tried to speak to the front desk at check out, he immediately cut me off and told me to write a note down for the owner, and that the owner would call me back. When I attempted to tell him what was wrong and show him pictures, he wouldn’t let me speak and told me to write a note. Please believe me when I say this place is the LAST place anyone should stay. They also require a $100 deposit at check in that was not disclosed during booking.

Worst Hotel I've Ever Stepped Foot In Hallway was not very clean, but when we stepped into the room, it was HORRIBLE! The bathroom was filthy, tub, floor, sink. Nothing about the bathroom was clean at all. Did not look like it was cleaned after the last guests, but there were clean towels so obviously someone went in there to put those out. The chairs were all stained and the table was broken and barely standing. The stains on the chairs looked like bodily fluid stains. Totally disgusted. Microwave did not work. Fridge barely kept our water and soda chilled. Look back on the rest of my review for more details. Had a very hard time sleeping in such a dirty place.
