WORST EXPERIENCE EVER...HORRIBLE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER...THE AGM (CHRISTINE) WAS MEAN AND VERY RUDE,...HERE IS MY EXPERIENCE... • IN MY 7TH WEEK CHARGED 2 EXTRA WEEKS (3 WKLY CHARGES IN 1 WEEK) • FRIDGE…DOOR NOT CLOSING…FOOD GOING BAD…STILL NOT FIXED • TOILET CONTINUINGLY RUNNING FOR 1 WEEK BEFORE FINALLY FIXED • 10/11-AM…NO WATER…HAD TO USE MY BOTTLED WATER TO FRESHEN UP • SPOKE WITH AGM CHRISTINE...SHE SAID I COULD LEAVE • TV…KEPT GOING OUT…HAD TO CONSTANTLY CALL FRONT DESK TO REBOOT DOG DROPPINGS BY FRONT DESK...TOLD CLERK,,,HE FOUND OWNER DAY I CHECKED OUT...GOT CHARGED ANOTHER WEEK AGAIN,,,I WASN'T EVEN THERE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Dirty! The room was so dirty! Hair on the floor and in the shower. Every corner of the bathroom was dirty and moldy. The drain for the bathroom sink was non-existant and the rest of the sink was brown and rusty looking. The TV on top of the tall closet was inconvenient. The whole hotel, inside and out smelled like marijuana, even in the elevator.

Stay here when in Middletown. Rooms were reasonably priced. All staff working there were extremely friendly and nice. Breakfast was also very nice. A selection of bagels, muffins and cereals. Coffee, tea and juices are also available. Location is good when traveling in Middletown.

Sorry, never again In all my travels and hotel accommodations this is the first time I have to write a 'bad review'. The room smelled of cigarette smoke as soon as we entered. Front desk staff was notified and seemed surprised, offered us another room but without refrigerator and microwave which we needed. The bathtub was grimy (pics) and there was a moss-covered plug over the drainage area...yukkk!! The bathroom sink did not drain and front desk was immediately notified, we were assured someone would check it out. The next morning, after brushing our teeth in the tub, we again informed the front desk of the sink problem, letting them know we were leaving for an event until late that evening and could the sink be fixed before we returned. We returned late that evening and guess what??..THE SINK WAS NEVER FIXED AND THE GRIME IN IT WAS STUCK! I had to use tissue paper and wipe it in order to even go into the bathroom. THE FIRE ALARM went off on both days we were there and was left blaring for long periods causing ear pain. Also..yes more..the phone was nasty looking and archaic/broken and the toilet tissue holder was so rested it was unstuck a bit from the wall. We were happy to check out of that place and head back to NYC.

Pleasant stay We recently stayed here while attending a wedding. I almost cancelled because of some of the reviews. Glad I didn’t. We arrived at 2:30 and our room was ready. They were actually happy to see us because they were hoping to avoid a 3:00 check in crunch. Check in was quick and easy. Personnel were friendly and professional. Our room was a nice size and very clean. It had a fridge and microwave and everything we needed. I could nitpick about a couple of things, like the bath towels being very small, but for the cost, I’m happy with everything. It shares a parking lot with two other hotels. Microtel’s price was almost half. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t great, but not much different than other hotels. I didn’t miss the usual horrible scrambled eggs and there was enough to get you going. Overall, a pleasant stay. I would recommend.
