Comfortable beds Communal areas of hotel are good with some nice touches like a library and pool table. Breakfast included gluten free and dairy free options. Beds comfortable and rooms overall as expected. Overall, hotel seemed 'tired' for example needing general maintenance in bathrooms and fitness room. Fair for the chain/star rating

Disappointing experience Let me count the ways; both the hotel and rooms smell very musty and moldy, the blackout curtains for sleeping when closed covered the air conditioner so that no air flowed through while sleeping- the alternative was to leave them open which would mean that the room was so bright you couldn't sleep, both the beds and the pillows are in need of replacement- very uncomfortable, the sink in the bathroom didn't drain properly, room esthetically is very ugly with paint wore and chipped everywhere, and the breakfast was cold and disgusting. All other times that I stayed here it had a made to order breakfast. I would rather pay then get free garbage to eat. I've stayed here many times many years ago and it was always a high end hotel, right now it needs a total makeover. I would be embarrassed to recommend to anyone.

Avoid booking this hotel The shower was full of mold room 277 The AC did not work My granddaughters and myself are sick with lung infections We could not use the pool as it was contaminated and had mold in the pool and lounge area in the same place the breakfast was served We booked this hotel because of 3 beds and the pool for the kids I phoned the health department the next day and reported it The hotel would not let me speak to a manager apparently there was no manager on duty. They would not assist me in anyway because I booked with booking. Com I asked to have the pool chemical checked and the maintenance man was extreamly rude and said it was fine .I wanted to see the chemical test and he refused me until I demanded to see the test. Which indeed was very bad _ The health inspector called me today on my phone to tell me they shut the pool down as it was full of mold apparently they had to do this before. They also said it was the worst they've ever seen for chemical imbalances The report is available online. The worst customer service I've ever experienced _ The most expensive hotel in the area Avoid if possible

Breakfast made it a solid 3/5 rating Hotel was nothing spectacular, good location- walked to WalMart ( mall also had HomeDepot, Dollar Tree, The Brick, Boston Pizza), mall across the road had NoFrills, Wendy’s , IDA. Had supper at Kelsey’s , walkable also ( had to cross King St). Room was ok , could of been ‘cleaner’ , the mini shampoo and conditioner bottles were still in the shower from the previous guests ( fresh ones on the counter), noticed water ‘spots’ on the tile floor in the bathroom and area were you hang your coats, as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned / mopped . The breakfast made the rating a solid 3/5. Surprised by the ‘variety’- GF bread , nut free packaged‘breakfast bars’ , almond milk, waffles, and the ‘typical’ breakfast foods. Used pool, hot tub , DH used the sauna. Did not try the workout room.

This hotel needs a major reno Very dated and smelly rooms. Aisles are dark, floor laminated tiles popping up. Floors on main areas in dire need of cleaning. Pool water looked clowdy. Hottub was dirty. Breakfast was good. Staff was good. I do not recommend and would not stay here again.
