HORRIBLE This was our first time staying in this hotel. It was horrible from start to finish. We booked a Jr. Suite that turned into a two room suite. This room had a king size bed in one room and a dirty sofa (not a sofa bed) in the other room. We had our granddaughter with us and had to go out a purchase an air mattress. The general manager was an absolute JERK!! He had the audacity to say he could give us a deal on another room!!! We paid for a junior suite or 2 room suite that said it sleeps 4 based on the website!!! Really, was my granddaughter and niece suppose to sleep in the bed with us? He was the rudeness general manager I have EVER encountered!! The smell was horrible in our room if the AC was not left on. The floor was filthy and sticky with who knows what? I really would like to speak to someone with Hilton but not “Mo” the general manager. He wouldn’t give me a business card!! I could write a book about my terrible experience. We checked out yesterday. Our bill was and still is incorrect. I would not recommend this Hotel to NO ONE!! Please beware of this hotel ESPECIALLY the general manager. I’m trying to reach someone from Hilton. Any idea how I can speak to someone from the Hilton Team? If I could give this hotel a ZERO…I would!! Alicia Brown

I had a great experience with Melody, Jasper, and Reggie! I will return to the Doubletree because of them! Melody gave 5-star customer service from the beginning of my trip to the end of it. She is both professional and personable. She went out of her way to ensure that I was comfortable and my needs were met. Jasper and Reggie were so amazing as well. They made sure that my visit was great and that my food was delicious. Their service must be celebrated because they're main concern was making sure that I was enjoying my meals that they provided. Always pleasant and in great Spirits they delivered excellent service! When I return to Montgomery, I will stay at the Doubletree!

Poorest Service in the Area I leave 1 star overall. I give 3 stars for service because the bartender is a rock star. His efforts offset the 1 star the rest of the staff earned. It’s ashamed they are so bad. The front desk staff come across as racist to white people. They also do not appreciate veterans. The manager at the hotel is clearly unappreciative of former military. He clearly doesnt care about the freedoms he has in this nation and how they have been granted. If you are black or black and part of the government or a black lobbyist, you are treated like royalty. I watched the comparison from the bar on many occasions. I will never stay in this hotel again. I stay overnight over 150 nights a year. I will gladly increase my business with a competitor. Hilton should be ashamed by allowing this hotel to be managed like this. They charged me double the normal rate for the room. I had to ask two different staff to reverse. This was after they denied me a military discount. I’m a veteran on private insurance (no VA here), im not a disabled vet, nor am I a military contractor, so I don’t carry an ID. I tried to offer other methods but the manager didn’t want to hear it. Competing hotels gladly honor my 6 years of service. This hotel also charges nearly $30.00 for parking. While in this parking lot, I witnessed two homeless drunks walking together through the parking lot. It is not secure in any way. It is a way to rip people off. This hotel is run by snakes. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Fun family reunion ruined by poor customer service Dear Hilton Family Associates, I recently stayed at your DoubleTree property in downtown Montgomery, AL with my elderly sisters. Despite making reservations in advance and requesting rooms close to each other due to our age and relationship, our experience was disappointing. The front desk clerk, Ronisha, displayed poor attitude and unprofessional behavior. She ignored requests, incorrectly handled our Hilton Honors cards, and showed no regard for our concerns. Furthermore, the check-in process was unnecessarily prolonged, and Ronisha's demeanor made us uncomfortable to seek assistance during our stay. Additionally, there were several issues with the hotel itself, including unpleasant odors in the lobby, moldy shower curtains, insufficient towels, and signs of mold in the rooms. On a positive note, the restaurant staff provided excellent service and the food was enjoyable. I hope this feedback can be addressed promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Don't waste your time or money This is the WORST Hilton I have ever stayed in and I'm a Diamond Member, so I have stayed in several! It was very dated inside and out. The hallways were dirty, the rooms smell terrible. We could not even use the AC in the room because of the smell and it's HOT in Montgomery in June!! There was old dog food in the space between the head board and mattress. You could hear absolutely everything around you. The iron in the room didn't work ( no ironing board), so I tried to call the front desk but the cord fell out off the receiver. Had to call from my cell phone of course no answer. I had to go to the front desk and wait in line for assistance. One person working on a sold out night. Had to wait until midnight when someone comes in because she can't leave the front. Never heard from her... Slept with everything zipped up for precaution. Would have changed hotels if it wasn't so late when we arrived. Never Again!!!
