Consider Staying Away I have elite HHonors status with Hilton from staying at their properties throughout North America. I had high hopes for this property and unfortunately it did not meet my expectation. We arrived and were put in a basic room on a high floor. Unfortunately the carpet was dirty, sheets stained and there was hair in the bathroom. Upon notifying the front desk Benjamin promptly moved us to another room. This room was much cleaner. However the air conditioning did not seem powerful enough to cool such a small room. An unfriendly technician came to the room and essentially told us to deal with it. Overall the rooms felt worn and definitely in need of a refresh. The next morning the hotel made an error in only sending us breakfast for one. At this point we just wanted to get out so we cut our stay short and left. While out of control of the hotel, the area surrounding it is under construction making the roads very difficult to navigate. Unfortunately the hotel is configured in a way where you need to take two separate elevators to get from the street to your room. Not the most convenient especially since there’s only two people permitted in the elevator.

Hilton Stay with family We are from Toronto and explained how we wanted our rooms to be. Upon arrival we did not get the rooms we were asked because they were considered “requests”, which is not what the staff said before the booking. They did not accommodate us either. Nor did we feel wellcome. Horrible experience coming from a multi million dollar company! Would have got better service from a motel if you asked me.

Average hotel - Don’t get the valet or breakfast Valet is not friendly or oganized. They struggled to find parking spots for paying guests and were eager in telling me to park by the mall, even though I gave them my full name and had a digital confirmation of my reservation. I had to leave my car in a random spot, go up to check in, then come back down after soeaking with the front desk to convince the valet I did indeed have parking included in my stay. Breakfast was disappointing. It’s NOT a buffet like we thought and had very limited options. We filled out two papers stating our options Thursday night and only received one order the following morning. The lady said she would complete all her deliveries and come back to us if she had left overs. I thought this was rediculous as we wanted to eat together. I notified front desk and the missing order finally came up. On our last morning I think they forgot our order completely as we were scheduled for 9am to 9:15 am but breakfast cane. So I called the front desk, got transferred to room service, and our orders came up in 15 mins. On a bright note, the washrooms are beautiful, glass shower is very nice. The room was clean except for the drawers in the pax unit and the ac was very dusty. We also did not get our rooms cleaned after the first night as we expected/as most hotels would do. We definitely paid for the location which was great, in the heart of downtown montreal. Parking was hard to find initially due to the construction in the area. Double tree could put up some signage. Overall fairly clean rooms. Service is below average. I think we would have had a better experience if we skipped the valet and breakfast.

Great location Excellent service from customer service desk. Everything was great from the moment we entered and we left. Specially the location and the view. Parking and shopping mall is downstair. Loved it. Will come again but this time will be staying longer__

No room service For a four-star hotel, There was no complementary breakfast there was no room service we booked the place for four days and we got no room service the place was not clean we had no towels shampoo no handsoap And this was our honeymoon Our recommendation is to go to any one or two stars hotel because it will be the exact same service with less money the only good thing it was the location and it had no parking for a guest!!!
