Don't stay here I had heard bad things about this hotel, but every other place was full. The computers were down, so we had to pay cash, several light bulbs were out, so they got them from another room, but some still didn't work. Killed several bugs, paint missing from the wall, the grill on th AC was busted, when we opened the curtains, our view was of 6 foot tall weeds. The hair dryer plug was busted, and held together with electrical tape. The hallway carpet had stuff spilled everywhere, hard telling what it was, or when they had vacuumed last. The pool was shut down by the health department. There was also a big chunk missing out of the window sill.

It's always the energy and People that make make the establishment. The feeling and hospitality and privacy outweigh. The minor inconvenience that most would complain about. Its easy to find hotels, there are practically everywhere but its hard to find good staff. _

Go somewhere else! By far the WORST place my family and I ever stayed. I am 54. On arrival the desk attended took down my husband's credit card info on paper to enter into computer. Sign at desk says" I am in the back...just yell." Carpet in halls beyond filthy, AC/Heater in room dismantled, I saw outside grass through it from inside the room. Someone could have pushed it from outside to enter our room during the night. Ice machine did not work. We were told it needed reset and that it would take 30 minutes, after 30 min the compressor was not even warm. No refrigerator. Shower pole hanging by 1 screw. Large brown stains on both mattresses. Cockroaches! No toilet paper dispenser.Brown stripping ripped off bathroom door. My brother forgot where the room was and was able to enter 2 other rooms. Our Door did not lock. We arrived late in the evening, very tired and did not adequately inspect the room. I would advise you take a good flashlight! There was no overhead lights and only 1 working light bulb in the room. A sign was by the empty pool stating" Closed until the Health department opens it again." The women's bathroom in the hall was not in working order. Broken window with sharps shards of glass was at the end of the hall. Watch out for prostitutes on the way in! Desk attendant made excuses to not give Corporate number...1 800 554 4555. I am Definitely calling Health Department!!

Red Roof Bad Experience My wife and I had one of our worst motel experiences at the Red Roof Inn in Morehead, Kentucky (October 13, 2022). (1) the toilet in our room was not secured to the floor, (2) the wall light by the bed was pulled from the wall, hanging by one screw, (3) there was a bulb missing from the floor lamp, (4) the lamp shades were torn and worn, (5) exposed drain pipe directly over breakfast buffet (which was minimal). (6) room hadn't been dusted. Definitely not worth the $105.44 we were charged. I have contacted Red Roof customer service who asked for identifying information but have not heard back from them.

Disgusting Today me and my family were going to boat at cave run and didn't make it but that's ok. We checked in and the smell in the lobby was terrible. Smelled like stale cigarettes. Once we got to our room we were there 20 minutes and left. We got our money back. Our room had chips in the floor. Looked like pubic hair in the dresser drawers. The clock and phone was caked in dust. Our air conditioner barely worked no fans in the room. My husband pulled the air vent out of the air conditioner it was caked in dust. The tub has rust all in it and the room smelled bad. One of the beds had stains yellow stains on the comforter. It was just so bad and smelled so bad I told lady at front desk no way in hell we're staying here. Absolutely not worth $1 to even use the restroom in...place needs shut down!!! I'd rather sleep in my car in 100 degree weather then stay 5 minutes in that place. But front desk did refund our card hopefully we'll see in few days.
