Nice Stay The hotel gives a very good impression, exactly what you would expect in Morro Bay. Has character unlike the chain hotels. The room was spacious with 2 queen beds. Plentiful parking. Easy five minute drive into town. The town was very picturesque. Hershey at the front desk was very helpful.

Racism linguers in the Morrow Bay hotel This is by far the worst experience I have had yet! Staying in 20 rooms a moth thru ought the country and booking 150 rooms a month ! Unbelievable we were not given our keys after waiting 3 hours for the Racist Hotel person tried to put us all in the same room ! She wanted us all 3 adults male 1 female and a 16 year old ALL in a suite and I told her my son isn’t staying w strangers - after booking.com confirmed all the details she still would not help us and left us outside for 3 hours in the cold - I can’t believe this hits the way in which they operate ! It’s disgusting to have to look at the 2 Indian old people who look at Americans like we are the problem and giving us the look of hate after we paid $400 and when clearly she wanted to be been mean to prove a point that she runs the hotel and it’s her way or the highway - but u live in America and what she doesn’t like is

STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! We were looking for a pet friendly cheaper hotel and ended up paying much MORE money than expected. Originally I called and said I was bringing a puppy. They said it would be $277 total w/pet fee. When we arrived they gave me a room WITH carpet and upstairs. No wear for my puppy to use the restroom. My dog is potty trained. I went to the store and bought him peeing pads. It was difficult for him to go outside to use the restroom every time due to being upstairs. He did use the peeing pads. After checking out the management called me and said they found poop on the carpet. I ask for a picture. The management told me there will be a cleaning fee because they would need to hire a carpet cleaning company. I ASK THEM TO SEND ME THE CARPET CLEANING BILL AND THEY NEVER DID. ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS and I’m STILL WAITING! They charged my card immediately an extra $140. And they charged me more for the room. When I had my son clean up the puppy’s pad I think a small piece of poop fell. Look at the zoomed in picture (they sent me) attached! I don’t mind paying a cleaning fee BUT over.$440 one night stay at a 2 star hotel is a rip off! Look at my pictures. I just don’t want anyone else getting ripped off! They are NOT a pet friendly hotel! THEY ARE THERE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUIN YOUR FAMILY TRIP!

Not recommended Not at all as advertised. Not anywhere near the beach and no ocean views. Also not quiet, literally right next to the freeway entrance. The rooms are not maintained well. Cracks and peeling on the walls. Linens and towels are worn. Poor value.

Experience did not meet expectations. I have never written a hotel review but I feel strongly compelled to do so today. The photos and description are very misleading. You cannot see the beach from the property or any water at all. There are buildings and a mobile home park in the way. It’s at least a quarter mile walk to see the shores on a narrow dusty road then another 15-20 min walk to access to public beach. Not worth the walk. I didn’t see anyone walk to the beach from the motel. We are literally 20 yards from the freeway entrance! Very noisy at night and difficult to sleep. The court with water fountain and fire pit face the freeway and not relaxing at all. Only one hand towel and one tinybar of soap in the room on arrival. Bath towels, shampoo, wash clothes and extra soap were on request. The managers are a couple and their daughter and they struggle mightily with English and Spanish.Poor water pressure in shower. Our room had old carpet, furniture and fixtures. Hasn’t been upgraded in years. The fridge was removed from the TV stand and not put back, I guess to have somewhere to put the coffee maker and microwave. Six oz cup coffee maker. Ver cheap toilet paper and facial tissue. It’s not worth the $250 a night we paid. You’re better off at motel 6. No joke.
