Rude front desk lady name Marian Front desk lady name Marian was very rude with us, no costumer service at all. She scream at some costumers in Spanish “that’s why they don’t want us here in the US because we don’t know how to behaved” lady was from Venezuela super rude. Never experienced this in my life.

Some problems see review. Would not return to this hotel The elevators were broken and we had to wait in the lobby for repairs or we were told we could take the stairs to the fifth floor. The hotel was in a very good location for sightseeing. Breakfast buffet was very good. Parking was adequate. Also liked the gift bags distributed with fruit and snack bars handed out at the front desk along where we picked up extra towels. Extra towels are picked up at the desk. Seemed to possibly be short staffed. I inquired twice concerning attractions and sightseeing but never really felt any one wanted to give any information. Would probably look elsewhere around for another hotel. The price seemed extremely high and there are numerous amount of hotels with adjoining properties. Would probably not return to this one.

Good location! The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. The evening front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The morning staff, not so much. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good except for the grits! My biggest complaint was our neighbors! They had a toddler that would not stop screaming and this happened at 9:30 at night. This was not the hotel's fault (except for thin walls?). Overall, we were pleased with the hotel.

Expensively forgettable Completely forgettable stay at high prices despite distant location from downtown Charleston. Basically, nothing provided (e.g. housekeeping, clean sheets, Kleenex, glasses) without a guest making specific requests. Minimal staffing. Never felt welcoming, or warm, or caring. It was, however, very clean. Very convenient for Fort Sumter and naval museum, but that’s the sum total of its assets.
