Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston - Mt Pleasant

Great from Start to Finish Amoy took care of me from checking in to departure and she was fantastic! I was busy out with business meetings during the day, and she was always greeting me when I returned and looking to assist me in anyway she could. Great customer service!

Lovely, pleasant stay in Mt. Pleasant! Room was exceptionally clean, bed very soft, pillows are super fluffy and comfortable. Very quiet area, room stayed nice and cool, big dressers for clothes storage. Room was very spacious as well. Staff is very nice too. Don’t really have a complaint at all!

Great stay! The staff in the kitchen were very accommodating and friendly when I arrived late for breakfast. I was texted by the Guest Services Agent to see if we needed anything, which was very helpful. Our room is very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Extremely disappointing room and food. Very dingy, dark room (room 315). Poor lighting. Old furnishings. Not like the photos shown on website. First room had such a roar (loud sound) from the air handling system that I called the desk, they said they would send maintenance, then they called back and said maintenance was gone. They moved me to another room. Bathroom sink drained very slowly, had standing water for quite a bit each time of even minor use (I reported it to the desk at checkout). Bedding was old, dingy, looked stained (see photo) at edge of coverlet as though not washed in a long time. Towels stiff, not soft. Metal object (see photos) stuck out from bed frame at ankle height- Very painful when I knocked my ankle. Neither computer worked in the business center, even when desk clerk (manager?) performed her recommended "unplug/replug" remedy. Only one out of four staff members that I interacted with spoke english fluently. Although breakfast area was set up nicely, food was very disappointing. I was not even sure what one meat offering was, looked like shredded pink hot dogs. Grits were not even cooked, just completely raw in the bottom of a crockpot type container with lots of water on top (I have video). For all this I was charged $289.18 for a single king room for one night! Never again.

If I ever go back, I’ll stay here again! Great place to stay, excellent staff that is friendly and helpful, hotel infrastructure was well maintained, room and common areas always clean, neat and orderly, close to a lot of the touristy things and beaches.
