Darlene was amazing Darlene was amazing and very patient. She was knowledgeable and what she didn’t know she looked the info up for us. She’s a rock star. My hunny couldn’t decide on what he wanted so she broke down almost each drink for him. lol…. It was a whole thing.

Great stay! Awesome place. Plenty for the kids to do. Water slides, lazy river, and multiple pools. Marlene was great at the tiki bar. Such a friendly lady who took the time to speak but kept the line moving. Very clean room and bathrooms near the pool. My kids loved it and we will be returning.

Nate the IT Guy Nate came to fix my TV and was fast and very helpful. He gave a detailed tutorial on how to use the new remote and stayed to make sure I had the concept down. He was very polite and I appreciate that he came out twice to ensure that I was completely satisfied

Don't Stay In Room 730 For the 3rd time we've entered room 730 at Crown Reef Resort Myrtle Beach to discover water all over the floor. We just checked in yesterday evening around 7pm and a huge water puddle greeted us when we opened the door. Please see my Google review made earlier today (May 2, 2025) under The Beach Is Calling. The dehumidifier keeps leaking in room 730 because it's getting full quickly. When I called to report this 3rd leak occurrence, Doug at the front desk asked if we're leaving doors open. We checked in and water was already on the floor. So, who left doors open before we even checked in? No one is leaving any doors open. It's too hot out for that. The dehumidifier capacity obviously isn't large enough. Thankfully, this 3rd maintenance guy (Mr. Cornell) who showed up this evening was pleasant, just like the 1st maintenance guy when we checked in. Mr. Cornell was more on top of things than the 2nd maintenance guy who showed up this morning when we woke up to water all over the room floor for the 2nd time. The 2nd maintenance guy pretty much told us it's not his job to clean water off the floor. He emptied the dehumidifier and came back to hand my husband 2 towels so we could clean up the water. He didn't even bother to get housekeeping, whose job HE said it is to clean up. We didn't clean up any water. I called the front desk & a nice housekeeper mopped up all that water. I posted a Google review this morning about the terrible service, but I want to say thank you to Mr. Cornell who came by this 3rd time and to the housekeeper who came to clean up the water after the 2nd maintenance guy made sure we knew that cleaning up water on the floor wasn't his job. There are now a few towels on the floor surrounding the dehumidifier thanks to the extra towels provided by Mr. Cornell. We still won't ever stay here again. The room size is large, the ocean view lovely, but we paid entirely too much money to be inconvenienced so many times. The room also needs to be renovated. Everything is very dated.

Tiki Bar Darlene was friendly and nice plus she made great drinks. Go check her out at the Tiki Bar. Good environment, fast service, and good dj. Dj played a variety of music and kept the crowd moving. The Tiki Bar is close to several different pool areas.
