World tour golf resort condo We stayed at this two bedroom condo during the first week of July. The condominium was fully equipped, including washer and dryer. The location of the resort is outside of the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach, but close enough to get to any of the activities and restaurants. The resort had a pool and you are on the golf course. Grounds were very well kept. Check in is not at the resort, but a mile away at the rental office, beach vacations. There is a clubhouse, but not sure who can use it.

Good Golf Trip accommodations The condo was well appointed and in good shape. It had an apartment complex feel as a good number of units were residents. but it was quiet and we had no issues. The only question, which didn't become an issue as we didn't have time to go, was there was confusion as to pool availability. The listing had on-site pool but it was unclear if we were able to use the pool as we were instructed to use the pool at Myrtlewood, which is quite a distance away. Anyway, centrally located for the golf we were playing an no issues.

Nice but not consistent We recently booked a golf package and selected these units for our lodging. The units overall were fine, but there was some inconsistency between units. one unit was top shelf all the way, nicer furniture and more attention to detail. while some were sparse and needed some updating. The code given to us for the drop box was incorrect and luckily the front desk person was leaving when i arrived to give me the correct code. We had wifi in our room but others did not. One guest in our group called the desk about their TV not working properly and they were told that the owner would be notified. No other offers to fix the problem. And their wifi did not work in the room.

Nightmare from the beginning Absolutely awful customer service. We booked through Hotels.com a month in advance and were confirmed to stay here but when we arrived at check in time our room was not ready like a lot of other complaining people that day. After over an hour wait we were handed our keys and sent over 20mins away out of Myrtle beach to another hotel. When we realized this we went straight back to the check in desk and said there must have been some kind of mistake. To be told by the ‘manager’ that there was nothing she could do because we booked through Hotels.com we were not guaranteed that resort. I’m 6 mths pregnant and I was left crying because it was Father’s Day weekend and we’d booked a weekend of golf with many other friends at their resort. We were told they didn’t have a room for us that night but could have one tomorrow??? So we were left stranded with no where to stay 4 hours away from home. No compassion and no morality. Absolutely disgusting and wouldn’t trust this hotel ever again. If you want to be treated like second class citizens then go ahead.

Nice place but not for a golf group We stayed here with a golf group of 8 men. We were told each condo sleeps 4 adults "comfortably" but in one unit a bedroom had two single beds and in another unit a bedroom had 1 double bed. Not very comfortable for men, some large men, after playing 36 holes of golf each day. On the plus side the units were pretty nice with kitchens, living rooms, couch, etc... but we don't really use those amenities. So Grande Villas at World Tour Golf Resort will not likely make our list to use again on our annual spring golf trip to Myrtle Beach.
