People make the difference. The hotel itself is ok - shows its age a bit but is comfortable and clean. There were little things like the light shade in my room was cracking and the black out shade wouldn't move which wasn't that big of a deal for me. The people here, however, are fantastic. Very responsive to the maintenance issues I shared with them, wonderfully friendly, and easy to get along with. A great example was when I was looking to get a bottle of water. There was no one at the counter and I took one from the cooler and stopped by later to pay for it - the staff were awesome about it and apologized for not being there when needed.

Gave away our PREPAID hotel room! They gave AWAY our prepaid for room! I called three times to let them know our flight had been changed and we would be arriving around 11:45-midnight. They said they notated it on the account. The room was for four, 2 adults 2 kids. We get the shuttle (took over 30 mins to arrive) to the hotel, exhausted after a long traveling day. We get there to check-in and the guy at the counter says “oh, well I gave your room away. I didn’t see the note on the account.” After many, many questions basically he didn’t read the notes in the account that we would be late and gave it away! Here we are a family of 4 with all our luggage and no where to stay!! I called EVERY hotel anywhere near where we were and after an HOUR (of him just staring at us as we sat in the lobby) we found a room at the LaQuinta. First off he was RUDE! He didn’t care and NEVER said sorry. All he would say was, well can’t do much about it now.” I asked if he could tell me what hotels were near us to call he named one, Red Roof Inn and said “they may have something but most places are fully booked.” I asked what he thought we should do and he said “I don’t know, but I can’t help you.” I am shocked at how we were treated! If I wasn’t so tired I would have taken photos and videos of how ridiculous the whole thing was! He was dressed in a weird clown sweatshirt and jeans and was SO unprofessional. I just can’t believe he never even apologized. Just gave us our money back (in 7-10- business days) and we had to pay for another hotel. By the time we got to the LaQuinta it was 2:00am! DO NOT STAY HERE! LaQuinta was so very nice and apologetic and it wasn’t event their fault! I am shocked. I will never get over this, it’s insane.

Filthy rooms I went thru 3 rooms before I found one I could possibly stay in. The first one smelled like a wet dog, the second one the blinds were broken. The third one smelled so bad you couldn’t breathe. It was on the second floor and the entire second floor smelled like wet dog. No DOGS allowed supposedly. I finally went back to the second room and stayed there with broken blinds. The floor was filthy, the bed linens and pillows smelled like people slept in there without showering for a week. The employees were dressed inappropriately for work. The girl that checked me in on Thursday was so apologetic, it’s an ongoing problem. Pure filth. I have reservation there on Monday night, with late arrival, I’m sure I’ll sleep in my car.

Pig Sty. This place is a dump. I have stayed in a lot of HI around North America and this one takes the cake. Reported no bathroom latch on check in. The door woukd not stayed closed. After 6 days still no latch. The breakfast is disgusting and dirty. Garbage cans overflowing at 6:45 am. Brought a milk container back to room, it was do rotten that when I dumped in the toilet bowl it stuck to the bowl. Out of food every morning. Pancake machine never worked all week. Door cards continuously failed to work. Upon check out I stood at the front desk for over ten minutes before the desk clerk ever acknowledged me. I had to leave as my ride showed up. Missed room cleaning two days in a row. I left a message for the Manager to call me. Two weeks latter no call. Easy to understand they cannot even run a hotel.

Typical Holiday Inn Express - No Issues This is a typical Holiday Inn Express, no issues very standard. Not sure why the bad reviews, we had no problems. One thing I would say they could improve on would be let the paying guest park in the front, the parking lot was full from park and fly. I know they make revenue but guest should take priority over park and fly. We didn’t eat breakfast as the flight was early, so no feedback there. Bed was good, room was good.
