Well Run Quality Inn Stopped overnight on a long trip (wanted to make Shreveport but got too tired). Both check in and check out were handled by courteous and capable persons. Our room was clean and well appointed. There was a minor problem in that the micro wave made weird noises during the night. We attempted to fix it (seemed like the clock mechanism was faulty) but couldn't and finally just unplugged it. The property is a few years old but well maintained based on our experience with other Quality Inns. The breakfast buffet was VERY good (eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc.) and well maintained by the staff person on duty. A good location (on I-49) close to everything in Natchitoches.

Housekeeping not provided Quality is seriously lacking at this Quality Inn, Room was in shabby condition and housekeeping was nonexistent. The management of this property has a policy not to provide housekeeping services for guests staying more than one night. We returned to our room late on the afternoon on the second day of our stay to find the beds not made, trash cans not empty and the wet towels still in the bath. The front desk told us that housekeeping was gone for the day but they could get us cleans towels. I confirmed with the staff that they are told not to provide housekeeping for rooms with multiple days stay. When paying $426.71 (weekend festival rates) for a two night stay, one could reasonably expect much better quality and at least a minimum level of housekeeping. Buyer beware!

Dirtty roach infested overpriced I stayed in room 204 in town from Dallas for a birthday party Friday night. Before the party I called the front desk to have the bathroom cleaned as it was dirty and smelled of urine. The carpet was damp and dirty. Filthy and moldy smell coming from the air conditioner. After the party, I photographed a roach on the wall and seen several small roaches on the eating table. I called down to the front desk and Diamond offered a can of raid and told us she could not change our room and she couldn’t issue a refund so we can go somewhere else. We essentially slept in our car . I am waiting on a refund of $172 for the most disgusting room I have rented in my life. Cashaun or cashawn is the manager and I have to wait until Tuesday for him to get back to me

Wonder what they were thinking?? My husband and I were on our way home from a cross Country road trip. We had been driving for hours. We were tired and hungry. We came upon Quality Inn and decided to stay. The $131 we paid was ridiculous for the room we received. The room it's self wasn't bad. The bathroom on the other hand was in need of deep cleaning. The shower curtain and the side of the bathtub were black with mold. The toilet was rigged with a paperclip. When you tired to flush you had to lift off the top to re adjust the paperclip. It was late at night and we decided to just get some sleep and let the front desk staff know in the morning. At check out I let the gentleman know and he didn't seem to concerned. A Manager stepped out from behind the back and asked us what was the problem. I explained that for $130 I should have a toilet that actually works. He didn't apologize or offer any discount. He gave the impression that this is how his Hotel is run and he didn't seem to have an issue with it. The very least he could have done was recognize the problem and issue some type of apology. The whole vibe at that Hotel was creepy.

The worst hotel experience I arrived at 1:30 AM after booking through a third party. The lobby smelled like cigarettes. There was a strange guy in a tee shirt watching TV in the lobby, possibly the source of the cigarette smell. The lady behind the counter tried to check me in, but wanted payment. I informed her the room was paid for, she asked the guy sitting the lobby for help, he didn’t know what to do. She called someone, spoke for a few minutes and then handed me her phone. On the other end of the line a person tried to explain to me why I had to pay for the room, which was already paid for. I took my ID and left. Now It’s the middle of the night, a paid for room I can’t use and no where to stay. Awful. I’ve stayed at Quality Inns all over the country. Usually decent at a fare price. This place is the worst.
