Infested and Unpleasant Stay The Hampton Inn is not a hotel I would typically select, especially given my frequent travel for sports and arts events. My stay here was profoundly disappointing. Upon arriving, I was assigned room 619, only to find roaches under the ice bucket. The subsequent room ( 627) had ants on the table and flies on the wall, and the third room (638 )had newly hatched spiderlings and what seemed to be mold on the side panels near the A/C unit. Exhausted after a 4.5-hour drive, I finally settled on a room despite its lack of cleanliness, having to clean it myself and finding brown residue on the wipes. Throughout my stay, I was constantly vigilant for bugs, which significantly marred my experience. The linens were inadequately cleaned, and the pillows emitted an unpleasant odor, as if they had been used by numerous people. When I requested fresh pillows, I was instructed to pick them up myself because the desk clerk was working alone and unable to deliver them to my room. While the parking and lobby were satisfactory, the rooms fell drastically short of expectations. The rooms were advertised as including microwaves and refrigerators, but when I inquired about these amenities, I was rudely informed that only some rooms had them, despite all guests paying the same rate.Seems like all rooms to the left the elevator do not refrigerators or microwave. There is a communal microwave in the lobby. The breakfast was substandard, with the waffles tasting like paper and the utensils visibly dirty with food residue. There was no butter spray for the waffles, causing them to stick to the iron. On a positive note, Gilda (evening) and Angelique ( Morning), representatives, were friendly and helpful. While others had a bit of an attitude. The Maid staff may not be the cleanliest but were very nice. However, the overall experience was more reminiscent of a motel rather than a hotel. The Mall is very close ( Across the street), Great restaurants relatively close, 30 minutes away from Fenway Park. No laundry services available in the hotel but there is a laundry mat 5 minutes away that was fantastic. Located a strip mall dollar store, chipotle, Dunkin Donuts and stop n shop etc... The side parking lot team parents tailgated at night an played cornhole. There is a sports restaurant attached to the hotel but they close by 11pm There is a Residence Inn across the street. Next time I would definitely stay there. From the outside view it just looks more clean and welcoming.

Second stay great! Second stay within a week – great Hotel – Check-In was seamless – room had 1 King comfortable bed – you can hear a lot of doors closing outside the room and there is about an inch space under the door that you can see the outside hallway. No smart-tv. First visit I had a microwave and a mini-fridge and this stay I have none – regardless, the room is spacious, nice and includes a walk in shower, although I can’t figure the order and proper way to open and shut the shower doors. Couldn’t get the A/C in the room below 20C – didn’t have the best sleep – I don’t know I can’t pay for a cold room. Complimentary breakfast was one of the best!

Great hotel We enjoy staying at this hotel and have done so on a number of occasions. The staff, accommodations and location meet our needs. Shopping. restaurants and other activities—walking trails, movies, spas are all nearby and within walking distance. I have one major complaint on a recent stay. This hotel has a late morning checkout time as is usual for most area hotels. Housekeeping began banging on our door hours ahead of checkout and while we had a do not disturb sign on our hotel room door. They were yelling wanting to know what time we were leaving. I do not understand why housekeeping staff commit these errors. They ruined a leisurely morning for us as we had a medical appointment a few hours later and were still asleep. Otherwise we do enjoy this hotel but dislike the manner in which the housekeeping staff on this particular stay treated us.

Dated, tired and poorly maintained property Hotel is old, tired and poorly maintained. There were flies in my room, wallpaper peeling off the wall, and amateur/DIY repairs to prior damage. Walls are paper thin - could hear everything in the room next door to me. Furniture old and beaten up. Very subpar property for this brand. Other brands in the same category (mid priced) have brand new hotels in the same general location - one is literally across the street from this Hampton Inn - stay at the competition, this Hampton Inn is pretty gross. The staff was very nice and helpful but the property looks like it was built in the 80s and absolutely nothing has been changed since. A property in the condition this one is in shouldn’t be allowed to have a Hampton flag.
