Courteous Staff but Needs a Remake Went there 2x during summer of 2020- it was great so went back again this year. Sadly, while staff was courteous/overall attentive, facility deteriorated in a year. Reception area etc looks great but that is where it ends. Entry to Residence Inn has a long, deep rut- when you drive in hold on tight because you could lose a disc or two in your spine; sidewalk at the rear entrance is in need of serious repair or someone is going to break an ankle. The patio area was littered with cigarette butts-maybe more ashtrays or make it smoke free. Mattresses are in need of upgrading. While comfortable I noticed all the stains on them when the fitted sheet came off my mattress. Needless to say, after that I was not comfortable knowing what I was sleeping on. Maybe encase mattresses in plastic mattress covers might help the situation-cheap fix to protect new mattresses. Not smoke free facility. When we got off the elevator on the 4th floor, immediately going right, it smelled like weed-either Room 400 or in the utility room. This was daily, mostly afternoon/evening but sometimes even when we went down for breakfast. If you are smoke free, then you need to enforce that. Lastly, in Sept hot breakfast was offered daily. This visit only had a bagged breakfast except for Friday which had scrambled eggs added in. Based on this recent trip, I may not be returning to this particular facility and will have to find another location that offers same services and convenience to all beaches.

Convenient Location The location is convenient, right off the Garden State Parkway exit 100B, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. There is an indoor pool and outdoor fire pit area with chairs. Our room/suite was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. A big THANK YOU to Jane for making us feel so welcome and for being so sweet and friendly.

Best location and customer service! I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times over the last 12 years. The location was ideal for visiting family at nearby Seabrook Village. Every time I arrived, I was greeted by extremely kind and friendly staff most notably the general manager, Barbara. She works incredibly hard to ensure every detail is covered and every customer feels valued. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast and happy hours (pre-COVID) were plentiful with healthy options and plenty to do nearby including great restaurants, premium outlets and fun at the Jersey shore. Highly recommend!!

long holiday weekend stay We stayed 2/12-2/15 for the President's Day weekend. Our last trip was a few years ago but we've always liked this property. The good: Convenient to NYC, lots of dining options within a 5-10 minute drive, very close to Walmart and outlet mall and sorta close to Target and a ShopRite supermarket. We stayed in 209, a 2 BR suite, with full kitchen, where we cooked a couple of meals. The room was clean but no housekeeping bc of covid. The place was also very quiet, no loud parties or guests. Great friendly staff. The bad: Rooms desperately need a refresh. Our bedroom door had a crack, the 2nd bathroom toilet lifted up and smacked down as soon as you got up, only one fork was available and the sofa sagged badly. The breakfast was lacking but that was bc of covid. The ugly: Nothing was so terribly bad that would have made us go to the front desk. If the rooms stay the way they are in five years, that would be a deal breaker for us staying again to be honest.

Thanks Malcolm It snowed two days and I was unable to back out to go to work at a local hospital. There were no Ubers available. Malcolm was working the front desk overnight. He dug the snow from around my tires so I could get to work. The next day, it was a sheet of ice around my car. I asked him to move my car to the front door so I wouldn’t fall. Thanks so much. Also want to mention Joe, Joseph, Diamond and Barbara for always being available! Y’all rock!!
