Radisson Blu Hotel, Neubrandenburg

Compact, clean and comfortable! A simple business hotel, compact, clean and comfortable. Was there several times for business. Good hotel and ideally situated with access to the train and buses. Walking distance to streets nearby for local food, light shopping and for work :-)  The rooms was spacious with all the amenities. Morning breakfast with good varieties. Language is not a problem, the staff can speak good English. Recommended.

Really Comfortable Stay This is a modern, clean and well located hotel. Lovely bar area and good breakfast. Overall, very good value for money. Tip: The underground car park opposite (which I now know has nothing to do with the hotel) is closed all day Sunday - so don't park there overnight Saturday night!

Average for a Radisson.. I have stayed at quite a few Radissons over the years due to travel for work and I feel this one misses the mark. I still have 2 more days to stay and not particularly looking forward to some aspects. Positive: - Centrally located right on the main square. - Great Breakfast spread - Good Customer Service from most staff. (I forgot my toothpaste, provided promptly. The chef remembers the kind of omelette I like on the second morning) - Excellent water pressure (honestly its like a jet :D ) - Spacious and clean bathroom. - Coffee (Nespresso) in the Business Room. - Parking available on-site (8 Eur/night) - Reasonable bed - a little saggy in the centre. Negative: - It is an old building and the carpets in the room could do with a refresh - No gym/fitness (so trip advisor has that wrong) - Wifi is unusable - this is what really got to me. Out of the 5 bands possible I had the tiny first dot of coverage. Skype wouldn't even sign in, Outlook wouldn't connect. When I went down to reception to see how this could be fixed the representative couldn't care less. When I tried to explain they should probably get it fixed as people who visit for work might not come back a second time, he said "ok" - seriously? :D I haven't checked other options but will probably try another hotel when I am back next.

Nice and central Very nice and modern hotel, bar and restaurant are recommendable and an asset in eastern Germany, where bars and similar locations are rare. I was there the second time for Business and I will book it for sure next time again. The location is excellent, because it is in the center of the city and not too from the train station.
