Wished I could have gotten a refund I had a sometimes-nauseating experience here, the exception being the friendliness of the night manager. The worst part was the powerful sour odor of my first room, followed by the worst-ever "burning protein" smell that blasted into my second room when I switched on the heat (obviously there was a good amount of hair and dust to roast: maybe it was the first time it was turned on for the season). I slept in that room cold, since the smell of the heater was intolerably strong and persistent, with no windows to open for fresh air. With a plethora of other disappointments (general wear and stains, old towels, lack of thorough cleaning, TVs in rooms and breakfast nook that were headache-inducingly blurred, a breakfast that was sorry, long hairs found in the sheets, a fair-sized patch of something on the carpet that stuck to my shoe) I wished I hadn't booked non-refundably. And I wasn't the only one that night to wish that. On my way to back to the front desk to change rooms, in the parking lot I met two women who were forfeiting their non-refundable payment (same as mine: $160) because, they told me, the room was "filthy" -- and decided at 10pm to drive the final hours home instead of having to sleep in it. I didn't have anywhere else to go, unfortunately. I might have expected or at least braced for these conditions at a place charging less than 1/4 the rate I paid, but at $160, one expects not to have all standards lowered at every turn. Hopefully by the time you read this, the owners will have invested in their business and cleaned up these basic problems.

Very nice! We checked in after having a horrible experience with a motel down the street! Customer service was very pleasant! nice rooms &facilities! Their under construction and gave ample notice regarding renovations. Would definitely come back.

Sad and Tired Hotel The Days Inn was awful. It smelled funny and was so old and tired. The savings was not worth it... I would try somewhere else if available. This hotel needs an entire makeover. Unfortunate experience.

Just "OK" I'm sorry I interrupted the front desk clerks day off whatever he was doing when I showed up to check in. He sure was put off by me wanting to give his establishment some money! As far as the hotel and room go, it was better than some Days Inn hotels I have been to lately. I have to say Days Inn hotels have gone down hill in the last 10 years and have convinced me to never use them again...
