Very good It was a very nice stay. People couple doors down were celebrating and very polite to us. This Red roof is located in a very convenient area it has access to Highway and restaurants and other attractions. If I was traveling to New London, Connecticut again I would definitely stay here again.

Horrible and rude staff The staff were rude. I asked for a coffee pot because each room was suppose to have one and was told to heat water in microwave. We had 4 people in our room had 2 towels asked for extra towels and was told I could do laundry. They came in the clean room took trash out and only made up 1 bed. My son cut his foot on a piece of glass in the room. Check out was the worst made to wait until they checked the room and didn't care my kid was sick in the bathroom to get the deposit back.

A very nice stay. Very nice affordable stay. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Room was large and up to date. Good location with lots of shopping. Staff was very nice. Complimentary water was given. Very close to Mystic Sea Port. A lot more affordable than in town. Good food close by.

Stay as far far away as you can Not a good experience on first glance of the room it was nice and clean, but after spending a few minutes in the room, you discover that there are things that are just not right. The room did not have a refrigerator nor microwave. The sink in the bathroom area was cracked. There were flying bugs. The fan in the bathroom was excessively loud people on the front desk were very nice and getting checked in, I was placed on the second floor and at my age climbing stairs with a 43 pound suitcase was not the worlds greatest. There were things missing in the room, but when I asked if it was possible to get a do not disturb sign as there was none in the room, getting to my room to find its location before I brought anything to it. I open the door and found a maintenance worker inside with the door shut. I find this inappropriate if anyone is going to be repairing anything in a room the door should be kept open. I understand that it is rather warm out there at that time, but again it was a surprise. I did not open the door the other things wrong with the room and I have taken pictures.
