Great value and location I really enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn NOLA, French Quarter. I felt the hotel offered great value. I had a large room with double beds at a reasonable rate. The hotel is close to Bourbon Street/French Quarter but not right in it. It's right on the St. Charles streetcar line. They offer a large, free breakfast buffet every day. They gave me early check-in at 11:30 a.m. The room has a microwave and fridge. Any cons? The WiFi was not always reliable. They told me that I could access it on certain floors, including the lobby. I think there is a premium option and you may not need that. Also, there isn't a bar/restaurant onsite. But the Marriott right across the street has a lobby bar with light food fare. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Kimberly rocks! Kimberly was extremely accommodating and was such a pleasure. Helped me move my days without any fuss. I've dealt with other Hilton properties that were less than helpful when needing to move stuff around. It is also located in the heart of the city which is awesome.

Biscuits-and-gravy breakfast! This was our third stay at the Hampton on Carondelet. It’s a fairly short walk across Canal St to Bourbon St and the French Quarter. The room was spotless, the bed comfy, and the bathroom was perfect except for some scratchy towels one day The free breakfast buffet is the best of any hotel chain. The friendly staff keeps the food well stocked and lots of coffee! Without exception, the hotel staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The only complaint was most nights around 2 a.m. some guests on the floor above our 11th floor room were so noisy that I couldn’t sleep. Sounded like they were moving furniture and stomping and jumping up and down. Granted, we were in the Quarter and people come there to party so I just waited it out and it got quiet. Not the hotel’s fault! Would gladly stay there again!

DO NOT book here This hotel overbooked on Halloween by 8 rooms. My group booked months in advance and had paid over a week prior. They were only offering a refund not to help relocate us, even though it was Halloween and the city was booked out. Eventually after talking to 2 different managers they helped book us into a different hotel and promised us a full refund. It is now almost a month later. No refund, no returned emails, no contact. It is extremely unprofessional and we are out over $1000.
