Anniversary in Nola My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay at New Orleans Marriott. The hotel sits in the perfect location short walking distance to Frenchman, Bourbon, restaurants, bars, and shopping. The hotel is large but still manages to provide great customer service. We celebrated our 12 year Anniversary and received a complimentary room upgrade. The rooftop pool really came in handy with the New Orleans heat. It offers two large pools one being 8ft deep. I enjoyed swimming and relaxing after a long day of touring. I would definitely stay again. We appreciated the speeding housekeeping as most hotels are not offering full service. It made for a very comfortable stay.

Great Location! Room was clean and service was great! We requested early check in and was able to get into our room around 12 p.m. on a Friday. The room was clean but the beds were rock hard. We were fine with it though because you can’t beat this location!!! Love being on the edge of the quarter but still on canal street so that I didn’t have to stress about driving down crappy side streets flooded with people. Checkout was a breeze with the app and valet was speedy with returning the car. I assumed it was going to take 15-20 minutes for them to retrieve my car from off site, but it only took 1-2 mins!! The down side was the shower, shower head wasn’t adjustable but was stuck pointing straight at the wall. And then the towel bar in the shower was broken… odd but overall great experience. Will be re-booking in the future

July Stay The hotel was just ok but the room was nice and quiet with a nice view of the city. Super busy lobby at all hours—hard to grab a drink and relax because it was loud. Nice to see the hotels busy though. Fred the bellhop was the highlight of this trip—he has been working there for 48 years ans took pride in the hotel ans company. It was so nice to chat with him—a gem they have there!

Disappointing Unfortunately this was very disappointing. The check in process was a disaster (even with titanium status), and the rooms smelled like smoke. The service staff was awesome, however it was just too busy for the systems they have in place. Next time we’ll book something smaller.

Great Experience, Great Location Had a great 5 day stay here. First, the service was impressive. Our original room had a cigarette smell, and they not only apologized and switched our room, but upgraded us to a larger room with a Mississippi River view. I had problems getting my electronics connected to their wifi and they promptly connected me with tech support and successfully fixed the problem. Next, location. I was told the French quarter could be loud and rowdy all night long, but this is on the edge of the business district and we had no problems with noise keeping us up. We were less than a 20 minute walk to the WW2 museum, the Riverboat Natchez, Bourbon Street, the Gray Line bus tour pick up point, Frenchman Street (jazz), the cathedral, Cafe Du Monde, and our bike tour meeting point. We also really enjoyed the pool. It was great to cool off from the humid summer weather after a busy day sightseeing. Last, one unexpired perk I came to appreciate, after roaming the rather pungent streets of the city, was the refreshing citrus scent pumped into the lobby. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
