The stay was nice but Valet 1 star When we pulled up it was no one on site the first day , The 2nd day we came down for our car it looked like someone went through our stuff My husband camera was missing we spent $1,000 on that camera I was so mad I heard premium parking company is at The Westin now I asked 1 of the valet for a manger on duty he said they didn’t have one which made me more mad I figure he was lien so I waited the next day I asked a different valet he gave me the manger number which is Joseph Houston he said I called the manger no call back NOTHING I will not be back at The Westin because of this.. The Westin needs to get rid of premium parking they are making The Westin look very bad

The funky 11th floor lobby is just the beginning Some reviewers have criticized the 111th floor lobby but that is only part of the story. Arriving in the rain, cars were stacked down the block so valet much less curbside check-in was out of the question. Another trip around the block and we see a sign ‘Hotel check-in.’ Across the street in the rain with our luggage, up to the 11th floor and the desk lady says, “don’t park there. That’s not us. They will tow your car!” We drop everything, run for car in the rain and get there just in time. Parked, we now learn it is $40 a day to park. Then the fun starts. The elevators say 11th floor but refuse to go there. Finally we go to the first floor mall and find an elevator that works. Checking in, they screwed up our reservation but the nice lady said she fixed it. We learned later either she lied or was incompetent. Our room was very nice with a great view; bed comfy except the pillows were made from recycled telephone poles. We opted to wrap some of our clothes in towels to use as pillows. The location was great but we spent the rest of our trip playing elevator roulette; first from the lobby to 11, then a different elevator to our room. Bonus was the $30/day resort fee and the $40 breakfast buffet. We won’t be back.

Beautiful bar area and great location Stayed to attend a family wedding in the area. The location was great. Very helpful staff at the front desk and dining room. We booked one of the Bienville Suites which was large with a great view of the river. Cocktails in the bar topped it off. The buffet breakfast (included with our room reservation) was very good. Got a chance to see the Presidential Suite. Wow! it was awesome. Would definitely stay there again.

Exceptional Service at The Westin New Orleans – Kay Deserves Recognition I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Westin in New Orleans for business, and while the hotel itself lived up to the high standards I’ve come to expect from the brand, what truly made my experience exceptional was the service I received from Kay. From the moment I checked in, Kay went above and beyond to ensure every part of my stay was seamless and enjoyable. Not only did she welcome me with warmth and professionalism, but she also personally followed up with me during my entire stay to see if there was anything at all I needed, from room preferences and regular check ins. Her attention to detail, genuine care, and proactive hospitality elevated my entire experience. Kay is a shining example of what it means to deliver luxury-level service with heart especially when traveling for business. I sincerely hope her leadership team sees this because talent like hers deserves to be recognized. She didn’t just make my stay comfortable, she made it unforgettable. Thank you, Kay, for going the extra mile. You are truly a gem, and The Westin New Orleans is lucky to have you!
