Another Amazing Stay at The Westin New Orleans! The Westin New Orleans is our go-to hotel whenever we visit the city. Its central location puts us close to all of our favorite spots, and having direct elevator access to Saks Fifth Avenue is a fun bonus, especially for me! This visit was extra special as we were celebrating my birthday. Samara at check-in went above and beyond by upgrading our room, allowing me to kick off the celebration with my guests in style. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the whole trip even more memorable.

Another Great Stay at The Westin NOLA! _____ This was my third time staying at The Westin while in New Orleans, and it continues to deliver! The rooms are cozy and super comfortable — perfect for relaxing after exploring the city (or, in my case, enjoying a lazy day in). I ordered room service and was blown away by the service. JayJay went above and beyond — friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. That kind of hospitality really makes a difference. Already looking forward to my next trip back. Highly recommend for anyone visiting NOLA and looking for comfort, service, and a great location!

Dysfunctional plumbing and terrible service I checked into Room 2117 on Monday. It was very odd: when I walked into the room, the sink faucet was running, so I turned it off. The plumbing in the room was messed up, in that turning either the hot or the cold handle dispensed very hot water. Likewise, the faucet in the bathtub only dispensed hot water. I've stayed in a number of hotels in my life where there was no hot water, but I've never before stayed in one where there was only hot water. Particularly in the morning, there was a nasty whining noise coming from the pipes in the bathtub. So, yesterday morning, I reported these issues to the young man at the front desk, who said that he would have them looked at. When I got back to the room in the evening, I noticed that the whine was gone, but there was still only hot water. Oh well. But when I went to take a shower this morning, I realized that hotel maintenance had "fixed" my whining pipe in the bathtub by disabling the shower valve. I had to take a bath instead of a shower this morning, because maintenance had decided to "fix" the problem with the room by removing my ability to take a shower. Actually, I should say that I had to fill the tub and then wait 10 minutes for the super-hot water to cool down enough to take a bath. Was anything about my complaint communicated to me in any way? No. They didn't text me, or leave a note, or anything. I didn't get an apology, or even an offer to switch rooms. I'd advise people not to stay at this hotel -- you'll get better service at a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn.
