Fantastic views / New York honkers. We stayed at this hotel for several days; upon arrival we were given a room on the 20 floor with fantastic views across Manhattan/ New York. However, that is the best feature we encountered. The air conditioning when you turn it on sounds like a jet engine and is quite loud so you can’t leave it on whilst sleeping ( unless your a heavy sleeper) . The noise from the traffic outside is constant and can be heard through the windows ( which is surprising as I’d have thought they would have had good sound resistant glass being in a major city centre ) and boy do those New Yorkers love to honk their horns which is once again constant and very irritating when your trying to sleep. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which is a shame as we would have liked a brew when we returned to our room. The room was clean although the WHB plug didn’t work and we had a bath / shower which was good and had plenty of power and hot water. The hotel staff are pleasant and very helpful. The fantastic views on the 20th floor are great but we found the traffic noise, honking horns continually a bit too much trying to get some sleep ; maybe with some good sound resistant glazing to dampen the noise outside we would return . It’s one of those points when you have a hotel in the middle of the city close to attractions would you accept the traffic noise for the views and it’s location.

Enjoyed stay My son & I stayed in the Bentley Hotel,New York,last month for 4 nights. Having read some bad reviews,after booking, I was a little worried. But we enjoyed our stay. Staff on reception were very welcoming & helpful. Our pillows were all changed to foam from feather on our request , immediately. Our room was fine,maybe a better view would have been nice,but room & bathroom were clean. The bed was so comfortable,I slept very well. We had maid service every day with change of towels & toiletries in bathroom.. I loved the mug of tea ,my son got free in reception ,every morning. If I am lucky enough to ever return to New York,I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Disappointed The first room we were in the blinds did not open so we changed rooms and got down graded to one window without a river view. We noticed after we returned to our room in the evening that the bathtub plug did not work. There was one wash cloth for two people. There were three pillows for two people the mirror was very dirty. There was not a top sheet on the bed or blankets just a comforter... no coffee maker in the room and it was very noisy, doors slamming early in the morning the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine when it came on which occurred all night long... would not recommend. No manager on duty to speak with upon check out.

Excellent hotel, nice and clean room, friendly staff The room was clean, very comfortable bed, and nice complimentary toiletries! The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. Good restaurants and bars nearby. You can't get these amazing views from any other places! Highly recommend the stay!!

Friendly staff, clean room and amazing view! The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. Check in and out was very easy and smooth. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The room had an amazing view of the east river, Roosevelt Island and queens Boro Bridge. I would highly recommend staying for any occasion.
