The service, the room, the location is perfect! Love their staff, they are nice and helpful! Location is perfect to access restaurants and MoMA! The room is clean and the hotel smells good and not overwhelm! Bed is comfy as well!

Great location, small room, bad services Room is quite small. Services are not welcoming (maybe should not have high expectations for N.Y. hotels); breakfast services were quite slow and we waited for more than an hour for our entrees get served. Not really welcoming.

Receptionist did not acknowledge my presence I was waiting first in line to be checked in but the receptionist asked the person waiting behind me to step forward to check in. The person waiting behind me pointed out that I was in front of her to be checked in but the receptionist still didn’t acknowledge me. Very strange. I decided to walk up to her to check in and to ask for a room with 2 beds. It took her more than 25 minutes to finally tell me that they don’t have any rooms with 2 beds. While I was waiting patiently 2 other guest checked in and got an upgrade. When I told her that I was a Globalist Guest of Honor and if they have an upgrade available she answered NO.

Fantastic stay! Highly recommend! This was an amazing stay at the Thompson for our anniversary with kids. The rooms were clean, food was delicious at breakfast, and location was amazing!!!
