In the heart of the Broadway show district...very pleased with room. In the heart of the Broadway show district. Room was just right for two travelers. Front desk was very helpful, checked luggage till the room was ready. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area. Also, close to all the major Broadway theaters. Wise I had known about this hotel in prior visits to NYC. Will return on future visits to NYC.

Overall stay was good! Stayed 4 nights at the Millennium 2 weeks ago. Our overall stay was good. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room 3616 was a king room. It was very spacious and was clean. Yes it needs to be updated but we didn't come to New York to stay in the room. Erin at the front desk was a delight! She had a coffee maker & coffee to our room as part of the $$ we paid for the facility fee each day. Location is great! Trinita at the concierge desk was the best! Very helpful and gave great directions to every place we were headed. Overall our stay was good and we would stay here again.

If you’re ok with bad service and not getting what you pay for, stay here. I took my mother to the city for a weekend trip last weekend. We saved up for it, painstakingly planned and budgeted, and chose a hotel that had everything we needed. Originally, we were booked over at the millennium premiere hotel in a deluxe queen room. We chose it mainly for the location, breakfast, and bathtub. I have a pain disorder, and soaking in warm baths with my medicinal salts really helps. So, after an excessively long drive, I was looking forward to checking in and getting in that nice European bathtub for a good soak. We were also limited to just the weekend for our trip, so, to maximize it, we chose the hotel with breakfast so we didn’t have to worry about extra walking or extra money to go find food in the morning. We would have been perfectly happy with our bagel and coffee from the grab and go. We also chose the deluxe queen room because of the extra seating it offered. We intended to eat in the room for most meals to cut back on the walking, and having that seating would have made that much easier. However, when we arrived, we were told we were “upgraded” to the broadway side because they ran out of rooms on the premier side. They gave us a king room with a “sky view”, which was just a view blocked by other tall buildings. All we could do was stare across into other hotel rooms if we wanted, so we mostly left the drapes closed. There was no soaking tub, there was no breakfast, there was no comfortable way to share a meal together. The bed was hard as a rock, which only made my pain worse, the reading light above the bed flickered like a strobe light, and the shower pressure was a joke. It was a slight trickle that went straight down no matter how I adjusted it. It took me 20 minutes to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. When we requested to move to the room we had originally reserved, we were met with resistance and attitude. They ignored my reasons for wanting the other room and just kept saying “so you’d rather have a queen bed than a king?” “There is no view over there” “the breakfast is basically just coffee”. Eventually the manager agreed to move us, but claimed “you won’t be satisfied with that room either” as if I was the most ungrateful person to exist. And, in order to switch rooms, we’d have to be roomless for 5 hours in the middle of the day, which didn’t work because we intended to be in and out all day. The service was horrible, there was never an apology, just comments about our “upgrade” that made it seem like we were being unreasonable. We weren’t told where any of the amenities were when we checked in, no offers to help with bags. Not to mention, they put a double hold on my card. They held one night for the premier side that we never got to stay at(which they say will take 28 days to release btw), and both nights for the broadway side plus security. So after all that planning and saving, we only got to do about half the things we planned for due to the extra nearly $400 hold on my card and not having the pain relief and breakfast options we had planned for. When we asked for a discount because this “upgrade” severely limited our trip, they said they couldn’t do more than remove the service fee… a measly $35 a night. We are not well off people. This trip took months of planning and nearly a year of saving. To be so limited by these changes and to be treated like we were the problem and it wasn’t a big deal was just outrageous. What a terrible experience. I’d never recommend this place to anyone.
