DO NOT STAY HERE The AC DOESNT WORK IN MID HEAT WAVE!!! My sister fainted in one of the rooms because of the hotel's negligence. They didn't fix the AC issue and I heard from other guests in the lobby that they had the same issue.

Great experience It was nice to be back at the Nomo SoHo. I’ve stayed twice before over the past twelve years, and choose it for its location and price. I had wonderful experiences with the staff, from reception to the restaurant. I didn’t need a bellhop, which was good because they didn’t greet me or offer to help, hah. I was able to check in a little early which was so nice. My king suite had an incredible view. I highly recommend spending just a little more money to get more space and a view. I was surprised that the room is exactly the same as it was 12 years ago. It’s definitely showing its age (the headboard material is badly cracking). The lobby is still beautiful, but if look closely at the pillows in common areas and restaurant they’re stained and showing wear. The hotel badly needs a renovation. This fact didn’t detract from my experience though. I received a good rate and wasn’t in the room a great deal. The room was clean and the hotel smelled nice. I would have liked a coffee machine for the morning and a fridge to keep water cold. I was there during the heat wave. They don’t offer water, but I had my water bottle and NYC tap water is good. I’m not sure what the daily resort fee covers (wifi, I guess). since they don’t offer the basics of most hotels at this price point. I had a really good experience at Nomo, but I think you have to manage your expectations. The location, staff and views are all outstanding, but it’s more a 3 star hotel now than a 4 star.

Disappointing I paid over $400+ a night (including taxes and fees) for what turned out to be a rather dismal room on the 3rd floor, facing a brick wall and an HVAC unit—not exactly the “view” I had in mind. The $50 daily resort fee got me a single cup of drip coffee, two miniature bottles of water, and Wi-Fi. Quite the bargain. The room was basic and dated.

Great SOHO hotel! Great views, clean rooms, spacious rooms especially for NYC, beautiful lobby and restaurant, friendly staff, pillows are thin but you can request more and those were nice and fluffy, shower pressure and temp is great, plenty of towels and supplies. I couldn't find an ice maker but you can fill your water bottle in the fitness center. The rooms do not have a fridge or a coffee pot. Bed was comfy and noise level was nice and low for the city. Rooms have great A/C, you can get it nice and cold at night.
