Could be better If they would just invest a few dollars in painting and cleaning this place would definitely be better. If you plan on staying here make sure you bring flip flops to shower in because the shower is disgusting and your own sheets. There are better hostels than this one. This is the worst in NYC.

Criminals I concur to all the reviews regarding the horrid conditions here, but may I add that the owners are also criminals. I only used my credit card once while in NYC and it was to pay for this hotel. The next day, I received a call from my bank saying that there was suspicious activity trying to purchase god knows what from overseas. It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to figure out who was trying to use my credit card illegally given that I didn’t use it at all between the time of purchase to the phone call. I confronted, and they played dumb. This place should be banned.

Not worth your time, money, health, and patience. I've stayed in many hotels throughout NYC and this is by far the worst! I wish I never booked a room here. No one should pay money to stay at this place. There were too many things wrong. Where do I even start? 1) The key had a hard time turning just to unlock the door. Things just went downhill from there. 2) The bedroom and bathroom were very dusty, almost as if no one had been there for years. There was also a smell of cigarettes even though there was a sign in the room that said it was a non-smoking room. 3) The sheets on the bed weren't clean, had stains, hair, and dust. The room didn't have a phone (or a clock) so I had to go downstairs to tell them that the sheets weren't clean. The guy at the front desk gave me "clean sheets" only for me to find out when I got back upstairs that even though those sheets were cleaner, they were still dirty with red stains. 4) The comforter was even dirtier and looked disgusting. One corner of it had a big yellow stain resembling urine. 5) Even though the windows were closed, you could still feel a draft of cold air coming in so the room was very cold and not much heat was provided throughout the night. 6) The (dirty) ceiling near one of the 2 windows had water dripping from it. 7) There was a small roach on one of the bathroom towels. 8) The bathroom sink drains so slow that I had to floss and brush my teeth in the shower. 9) The shower head was really dirty, but to be fair most hotels don't seem to clean this. I actually took the filthy shower head off just to shower. 10) The wall outlets were practically useless. Anything that you plugged into them usually fell right out just seconds later. So I couldn't charge my phone. 11) You can hear quite clearly when anyone in a room next to yours is talking. Doesn't matter if you're in the bedroom or in the bathroom, you can still hear them. The people next to my room stood up most of the night talking just adding to my frustration of all the problems the room already has. And to make it worse people were slamming doors incredibly loud between 11pm to about 3am. 12) Hotels.com told me that checkout was at 12 noon. That wasn't true, checkout was at 11am. 13) Some rooms had no bathroom. Mine did, which is probably the only positive thing I can say about it. There were more issues. But those are the ones I remember at the moment. As if all those things alone weren't a major turn off, the dirty sheets and comforter is completely unacceptable. The primary reason people stay in a hotel is to have a place to sleep in for the night and if everything on the bed is nasty, how are you supposed to sleep on that? This place should either fix all of it's issues or shut down their business. It's not worth the money or time to stay at this hotel. Hotels.com should de-list it from their search results. I feel cheated. Stay away!!!

OMG Not only is this hotel horrible, our guests had their credit card stolen and $500 worth of purchases made on it!!! Reporting this place to the police. Do not even go near this hotel. Total crooks, denied everything when confronted but they were caught red handed.
